Spending time with Harry was always great, but waking up beside him day after day was so much better. There were two days where I woke up to an empty bed only for him to be cooking breakfast downstairs, but the other days I had helped. It was crazy being with him so much, but I enjoyed just hanging out with him. We watched television, or then would go for a run, or then would bake something, and I didn't know if there was any better way to spend our time together.
It wasn't until Thursday that he asked if I wanted to go on a date. I thought that most of our time together had been dates, but he said he wanted to take me out. I agreed, Harry leaving me alone for a couple of hours to get ready. My mother had asked if I was doing better everyday, so I assured her that I hadn't felt sick since the day after they left as I got ready, wondering where Harry was going to take me this time.
When I did get into the car, he smiled at me, leaning over to kiss me. My face flushed instantly, Harry taking my hand in his as he drove. The curly-haired boy sang softly along to the radio, the drive taking about half an hour before we showed up to what looked like a fair. I raised my eyebrows, Harry laughing when I started saying that his dates were always amazing.
"How do I get to have you all to myself?" I asked.
He shrugged, getting out of the car. I got out also, Harry holding his hand out to me. He had locked the car behind us, the curly-haired boy paying for wristbands so that we could get on all of the rides without tickets. When we walked in, I had no idea what I wanted to do, but decided that going on a ride was the best.
"Mm, just not the spinning thing that puts you upside down and what not."
"Why not? That's the best one!"
"Nooo. I threw up after that when I came here in middle school."
"You haven't been here since you were in middle school?"
He shook his head. "I haven't had a reason to until now."
"Awe, Harry. "Not you, my craving for the funnel cake."
He laughed when I pushed him away, Harry trailing behind me. He apologized softly when he caught up to me, my boyfriend pressing multiple kisses to my face to assure that I was certainly his favorite and the reason for coming to the fair. After that, we stood in line for the Ferris wheel, Harry shaking his head.
"This one is boring."
"Yeah, but I get to snuggle with you."
He shook his head. "You're cute."
"You tell me that a lot."
"Well, it's true. I shrugged, hugging him to me. Harry smiled, his lips pressing to the top of my head. It took a while, but we finally managed to get on the ride. Harry took a picture with me, my lips pressed to his cheek. It was kind of crazy, but I knew for a fact that we had taken probably close to a hundred pictures, if not more, since the both of us had started dating.
"You know, we'll have been dating for six months next month," he told me softly.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah."
"So, I need to get you a really good gift."
"No," he shook his head. "Just you is perfect. "I'll still get you something."
Harry nodded, taking my fingers in between his own. I smiled, watching as he took a picture. It had my bracelet in the picture, the H charm in view. However, I was surprised when he opened Instagram, choosing that photo and typing out the caption: i'll give you my first initial until i can give you my last.
