My father and I went to the first baseball game when we came back from winter break. I knew the team they were versing was difficult to beat, so it definitely gave our school a challenge for once. Anne showed up with her grandchildren, Emily and Noah practically tackling me the moment they saw me. Both of them explained how excited they were to see me, and that they also couldn't wait to watch their uncle play.

Honestly, the first half of the game was pretty boring, since each side would get the bases loaded, but no one would score. Around the fourth inning, our side got two runs because someone was on a base when the other person hit a home run. The crowd cheered wildly, and I knew it was because we were the first to score. Although, Harry was up to bat now for a second time, Emily and Noah cheering loudly. He glanced over his shoulder, waving to them before standing at the plate. I watched as he got two strikes before hitting the ball, Harry making it to first. It was followed by me cheering for Ethan, my dad laughing while my brother got a good hit on the first try.

Harry made it home, but my brother did not, leaving the team with three runs. It was followed by another couple of innings, our side winning seven to six. My father was talking to Anne as the bleachers cleared out, the five of us getting up once everyone had pretty much left. Harry was already waiting by the bleachers when we got to the bottom, my boyfriend crouching down and hugging his niece and nephew.

"Hello, hello, I missed you two!" he grinned, kissing their foreheads.

I was surprised when he stood up, pressing a quick kiss to my lips. He assured me Ethan had gone straight back to the field house when he pulled away, Harry hugging me tightly. Noah and Emily were saying how gross we were, but Harry just held onto me tighter. Anne, after a few minutes of her son not letting me go, claimed she wanted a hug. He chuckled, pulling back and giving his mother a hug. My face was flushed when I glanced at my father, the man shaking his head.

"You two are disgusting together."

"Mr. Coleman, I assure you that my hatred for your daughter is simply mutual."

"He's right," I nodded, stepping closer to him carefully. "We hate each other."

"You two are weird," Anne told us. "Anyway, I have to take the kids home, Harry. I'll see you later, okay? Robin is home."

"Okay, Mum. I love you."

She looked at him oddly, stepping closer to him slowly. I didn't understand what was wrong with him telling her that, especially since I had definitely heard Harry tell his mother he loved her before. However, she hugged him tightly, pressing a kiss to my cheek.

"You seem to have started appreciating me more since you two got together. "Yeah, yeah," he whined. "Go drop off my favorite children."

" She rolled her eyes, holding Noah and Emily's hands once they had said goodbye to us. I watched as my boyfriend looked over his shoulder, Ethan still in the field house when Harry pressed his lips to mine again. I smiled against his mouth, pulling away and shaking my head.

"Bye, Nicole. I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Yeah."

"Don't be shy. You don't have to be shy around me," he grinned, pressing a kiss to my temple.

"Alright, I can only take so much flirting," my father stated. "Have a good night, Harry."

"You too, Mr. Coleman. My dad rolled his eyes as Harry jogged off, Ethan walking out of the field house in clean clothes. He was wearing regular sneakers also, my brother hugging my father and then me. We headed to the car, Ethan asking my dad to drop him off at a friend's house.
