     School had been weird. I don't know if it was because I was paranoid, or people were truly staring at me, but I felt like more people knew about Harry and I than I had anticipated. My friends asked me questions about my week with him, all of them saying they were happy we were together, but I didn't give them all of the details. After all, if I told them Harry and I had sex, I had no doubt that they would ask countless questions on the matter and I didn't want to talk about it yet. I still wanted the moment to truly belong to us, even if my dad managed to force it out of me.

It was Friday before I knew it, and my friends and I decided we were going to see a movie. I knew that Lex had invited Alex, so I asked if it was okay if I invited Harry. They all said it was definitely okay, which I thought was nice of them. However, it was a super hero movie that just came out, so I wondered how many people from our school were going. Either way, Harry had been fine with it, saying he'd meet me there at seven since he had to do something before for his mom.

Ella came over to get ready, saying that she wished Reggie would be going with us, but that he was going to hang out with his friends instead. My brow pulled in at the fact that Reggie was hanging out with his friends, leaving me to wonder if Harry was supposed to be there but chose me instead.

"Can you ask Reggie if Harry was invited?"

"Sure!"

She didn't seem to think anything was wrong with that, my friend quickly texting her boyfriend. I finished dressing and putting on makeup, Ella saying she was almost done. It was as we were leaving that Ella said Harry had been invited, but declined. Honestly, I wanted Harry to come to the movies with me but the idea of his friends finding out that he had spent his time with me instead was worrying. Not to mention that Ethan was already suspicious about the two of us.

On our way there, Ella and I listened to music, singing along to the indie band that we liked a lot. I wondered why Harry had declined to hang out with his friends, but put it on the fact that he didn't like Ethan very much anymore. It was as we were nearing the movie theater that Harry texted me, my face flushing immediately at the words on my screen.

Harry: are you going to be wearing something cute for me (;

I dress for myself

Harry: wear shorts

Stop being a pervert

Harry: I'm only teasing

Harry: but I'm kinda pissed

Why?

Harry: idk just what I did for my mum or whatever it's cool but yeah

That's vague but I'm sure it's fin If it makes you feel better I did happen to wear shorts today

Harry: fuck yeah (;

Rolling my eyes at his message, I told him I needed to go, and that I would see him soon. A part of me really hoped that whatever Reggie, Ethan, and their friends did tonight had nothing to do with the movies. The idea of them running into us was horrifying, but I figured there was no way that group of guys would willingly see a movie on the opening night. However, the thoughts dispersed when Ella pulled into a parking space, the two of us heading inside.

Lex and Alex were standing with Blair, Ella and I walking toward them. As we made our way over, my eyes stopped on a figure standing against a pillar, Harry sending me a small wink. I smiled, tucking my hair behind my ear.

"Ella! Nikki!" Blair grinned. "I have never been so happy to see you two!"

She was quick to pull us aside from Lex and Alex, explaining that the two of them were very interested in one another, and had barely included her in the conversation. We decided to start getting our tickets, Alex paying for Lex's ticket. Blair and Ella paid theirs at different windows, while I looked in my bag for my movie reward card. Ella said she would meet me inside, her and Blair following Alex and Lex into the snack area. Once I found my reward card, I stood in line, jumping when arms wrapped around my waist.
