The one with a girls night in

A/n I've started my summer break now but I don't know if that'll make more time to write or less time since I've actually gotten some what of a social life. But I'll try my best and hope you like it

Penelope pov

"Why don't we play truth or drink?" JJ asks and we all laugh.

"Are we back in college now or what?" Emily says with a smile but i can't take my own gaze away from you.

"Come on, it's not often we get to have a girls night out on a case" JJ continues to try and convince us.

"Well it's not often we only get two rooms on a case, why not" you agree as you fill up our glasses with the cheap wine from the fridge. "The boys are probably doing something similar in their room. Come on, it'll be fun and we need some fun on a horrid case like this"

"You're right, we need to think about something other than dead men found in alleys" i try to joke it up and it works.

"Fine, we'll do it. JJ, you begin since it was your idea" Emily also agrees and JJ just nods, preparing to either answer honestly or drink. "Let's start easy with when was the last time you lied and what was it?"

"Easy you say?" she says with a laugh and i can't help but laugh as well. "Let's see, my last lie was that i told Will i was going on a run with Y/n and that we later saw a movie"

"What? You mixed me in your lie without telling me?" you say overly dramatic with a laugh.

"You would have played along anyways if he had called"

"True, but still" you go back to my gaze before saying to JJ. "What did you do instead then?"

"I went to dinner with Spencer and then we watched a movie" she answers with no shame at all.

"So you sort of went on a date with the Dr Spencer Reid, you're turning into a friend of my brother" you say with a laugh and we all join in.

"Never mind that, since Em didn't start easy i won't either. Y/N, count up the three places that's not a bed where you've had sex and with who?" and i can tell that it's me and JJ who are light weights. I guess you and Emily aren't because you used to work at Interpol, those cases where you'd be in a bar but would still have to have a clear head.

"Let's see. One would be in an on-call room with Lena at the hospital but that's kind of normal, at least Seattle Grace-Mercy West. An empty classroom a teacher of mine at my very catholic and only girls high school. Last one would be in the backseat of Matthews' car at our college football game." you answer honestly.

"Wait, you went to a full on only girls catholic school?" you nod with a smile. "No wonder you turned out to be a lesbian" JJ says and that makes us all laugh out loud.

"Emily, what's the one thing you would do if you knew there were no consequences?" you say but her smile disappears as she quickly takes a sip of her drink. Leaving us all speechless but the look on your face tells me you already know what that is.

Y/n pov

"So now that the two light weights are asleep, you wanna tell me what you would do?" i ask as i sit down next to Emily on the floor by the window. We had the luck of having two king sized bed one to JJ and Penny and one for us. "Or maybe have already done" and that brings her gaze up to me. "I knew it, i knew i wasn't imagining what i saw between you two"

"What? Between who? I don't know what you're talking about" she rambles but as i meet her gaze she stops. "Is it that obvious?"

"That you want to fuck Aaron, yes" i say in a whispered voice since i guess right to it being something they want secret. "Please, i've known every since after my first case"

"How? We were so discreet"

"Please Emily, it was literally so easy to figure it out that a high school girl would know. In a text you sent you said 'me and Aaron' and it's only me and Rossi who call him that, then you called the two of you an 'us' and i pieced two and two together.

"I should have learned by now that i can't keep anything secret from you"

"You're one of my best friends, Miss Emily Prentiss, you're not supposed to keep things secret from me. But i know why" i say as i take her hand in mine as a way to support. "Besides, i'm happy for you two. You two are great together and even though i don't want to hear every little detail since he's my friend as well, i still want to hear everything"

"Thanks Y/n, it means a lot to me. But the thing about not keeping things secret from each other, it goes both ways you know"

"Of course it does" i look at her and she waits for me to say something. "I'm not keeping anything secret from you"

"So i'm just imagining the chemistry you and Penelope have?" she says and with that i try to get up to get away from the conversation but she pulls me back down to the floor. "See, that's avoiding and keeping something secret"

"I'm not avoiding and i'm not harbouring secret feelings for Penelope, and even if i was i can't"

"Because she's in a serious relationship and so are you" she says and i just look down to the floor, seeing the ring on my finger.

"Exactly"

"Well i actually know how that feels" i look questiongly at her. "You know that guy Austin i dated when i moved to Virginia?"

"Yeah, he wasn't exactly who i pictured you with"

"Well Aaron was still married to Haley at the time and i was with Austin but we both feel for each other in a matter of weeks"

"So this has been going on for that long? How hasn't the team noticed yet?"

"No, we only talked about it after we had to do a almost five hour drive back to Quantico from Pennsylvania. It was the case we had before you joined us, but we talked about it and then laughed and then..."

"Oh the details i don't want to know Em" i interrupt her and we both laugh.

"Can you promise me that you won't tell the others?"

"I promise, why would i want to destroy one of the few good things that has come out of this job for you"

"Thanks, what would i do without you?"

"Well then pray it's something you'll never have the answer to"
