Y/n pov

We get through the episode and it's getting late. It was late already when we started it but it's even later now. Penelope has fallen asleep against my shoulder and Lena is barely awake. We get out of the couch and i gently lay her down so that she's laying over the entire sofa, then i lay one of the blankets over her. I take the empty pizza boxes and put them on the kitchen counter together with the glasses while Lena goes into our room to get ready for bed. I then come in to see her already in bed.

"I'm sorry for ruining date night" i say in a low voice as i also get into bed next to her. She just hums an answer and turns so that she has her back against me.

In the morning

"I'm not jealous, i'm just not blind" Lena whisper-screams as she walks around in our bedroom to get into work. I'm still sitting on the foot of the bed.

"There is nothing going on between us babe, i swear. We work together and we are friends" i say in a calmer tone, but just so we don't wake up Penelope who's sleeping just outside our door on the couch.

"I can see it in the way she looks at you when you're not looking Y/n, or just by how you look at her"

"Your overexagering, look at these Lee" i say as i grab the wedding invitations her mother made for us just a few days ago. But she refuses to look my way once again. "Lena, look at these wedding invitations, our wedding invitations. We've set a date, we're going to post these and then we're going to get married. But we can't do that if you don't trust me"

"Then maybe we..." she catches herself before she says anything about it.

"You knew when you met me that i didn't want to get married and still here we are, about to get married in less than three months" i say but she still doesn't look at me.

"I need to get to the hospital" she says, grabbing her purse and phone and walks out the door. But before she slams the outdoor behind her she says. "Call me if you leave"

"What was that about?" Penelope asks from the couch as she looks at me. The door slamming must have woke her up. I wipe away the small tear that had started to escape from my eye.

"Nothing, she was just in a hurry. Sorry for waking you up" i say as i walk over to sit next to her on the couch.

"I'm sorry for ruining date night"

"It's okay, ready to tell me why you came here crying now?" she nods and sits straight beside me.

"Kevin broke up with me" she says and anger fills me for that man, then she gives me the reason why. "I came out to him as bisexual and..." tears start to stream down her cheeks again so i take her in my arms.

"Hush darling, it's going to be okay. If he can't accept you for who you are then he ain't that important." i comfort her as she collects herself again. A ringing interrupts the moment of us just looking into each other's eyes. I can see what Lena was talking about but it's not like either of us are going to go after it. First - i'm engaged to Lena, second - it's against the rules of the bureau, third... i don't have a third. We both pick up our phones, Aaron is calling me while Morgan is calling her.

"Sloan" "Penny G" we both answer at the same time.

"We got a case. Briefing on the plane, how fast can you get there?"

"I can be there in forty"

"See you on the plane" and he hangs up just as Penelope is finished with her call.

"Looks like we got a case" i say and get up.

"Can we... you please not tell anyone about this?" she asks me as i'm hurrying around to get out the door.

"You can tell them whenever you want, just know that i'm by you"

"I'm just scared what they might think"

"Penny, i don't think anyone thinks your straight. And don't forget about the fact that i'm a lesbian, Em is just unlabeled and Reid is so bi and don't get me started about the bi-confusion JJ has. I'm sure they'll throw you a coming out party"

"I know... i just" she says and i see that she's scared. I don't blame her when the first person she comes out to rejects her and breaks up with her.

"I get it, i won't say a thing until you're ready for them to know" i take her hand in mine and hold it. "You got nothing to worry about... now let's go save some people huh"

"Yeah, let's go"
