"Could you give up the extent of her injuries?" Prentiss asks the doctor as she takes out a file out of the cabinet. Really not wanting to know what happened to her friend, neither of the wants to.

"Bruises over her breasts as well as inner thighs. Ligature marks on both wrists and ankles. 54 knife cuts, all 3 inches long. 12 over both arms, 13 on left leg and 14 on right leg, 3 over the chest. There was a repeated fraction on left shoulder that managed to heal itself while 3 4 inches stab wounds through her reproductive systems..." the doctor stops herself as if she's avoiding saying something. Which Ried picks up on.

"What are you not telling us?" he asks and it gets both Hotch's and Prentiss' attention properly.

"She asked me specifically not to tell Agent Hothcner or Agent Prentiss the last part, due to knowing each other earlier. She said she didn't want..."

"It's okay, we'll wait outside" Hotch says before anyone can argue against it.

"Hotch..." Prentiss signs as she wants to know in order to put this bastard behind bars and save y/n. But he just looks at her before opening the door for them both to go out. Leaving Reid to talk to the doctor. It's not until the doctor knows that they have ventured away long enough for them not to hear it.

"Dr Royce, this is vital for me to know so that we can save her" Reid says and the doctor signs but knows it is true. As she was y/n's doctor when she came back she knows that she's in the hospital, as they requested her medical file.

"There were signs of rape, she told me that he did it to both her and the other woman there" Reid is holding his breath. He had noticed how y/n had taken those cases involving rape to heart but didn't think it had happened to her. "For two weeks, the three who were still alive at the time were being sexualy assalted in front of each other. The last week when she was alone, it only got worse for her"

"If that happened during three weeks, how come she is so fine now? Not even two years later"

"When she got back here, she had a breakdown and attacked one of the nurses. We had to substate her to keep her in control, but after that the only change in her was that she took life more seriously. At least according to Lena Goodwin, at the therapy sessions" the doctor finally meets Reid's gaze. "After a few weeks, her memory of that time started to fade. The trauma was too big to fit inside her head. That why she's so fine now, but i so hope you find this son of a bitch for hurting her"

"You started to care for her, Dr Royce?"

"She was my patient for six months, i spend more time with her than at home with my own husband. So yes, i do care for her in a way" Reid can see it in her eyes that she had managed to fall for the broken woman in her care. It was in the way she had mentioned her husband that he figured it out. "If you don't mind updating me about her recovery?"

"No of course, i'll make sure you know how she's doing" but there is a lie in his words. All he will do is ask y/n if it's okay and make her do it herself, so there is no risk that he's sending personal information to someone who's obsessed with her. We've been there before with Matthew Black, it didn't end well.

<Back at the hospital in Washington DC, Virginia three hours later>

He pushes the dead man into one of the lockers before making his way out into the corridors. Not getting even an ounce of attention, just like he had planned when he started this. He's walking down her hall, passing two FBI agents sitting in the waiting room. Another one, a brunette, walks up to them and strikes up a conversation that he's not even a little interested in. Nothing can stop him now. Not even the officer outside her room stops him from entering, because he fits right in. He's now standing at the foot of her hospital bed, watching her sleep for a whole minute before closing the door behind him. Still the officer doesn't even react to it. Now it's just him... and her... alone. And he will make her pay for what she's done.
