𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻. I forgot that Hermione and I had gone to Hogwarts, so without thinking, I rolled off the side of the bed, hitting my head on the nightstand beside it.

''Crap!'' I shouted, waking everyone else in the dorm.

''Y/n? What the hell are you doing?'' Angelina asked.

''Dying. That's what.''

''Oh! Please be okay!'' Lavender ran over, looking at me as I laid on the ground. She wasn't the most helpful person, but I guess she cared so that's something.

''Oh! We're going to be late!'' Hermione panicked, jumping out of bed to get dressed in her new school robes. Everyone else in the room had followed Hermione's actions, as I slowly got up from the floor.

''Good to know you care.'' I mumbled, rubbing the back of my head. Faris had awoken from my fall and flew down to the nightstand to check on me. ''I know you do, Faris.''

''Hurry up, Y/n! We need to get to Transfigurations!'' Hermione shouted, pulling me off the ground and shoving my robes into my arms. She then ran over to her bed and started packing her books in her bag.

After I had gotten dressed, I grabbed the tie and put it around my neck, untied. I didn't feel like tying it at the time, and because I like the way it looked when it was untied. After stuffing my books into my bag, I put it on my shoulder and started to walk out of the room, following behind the others.

Faris had made a noise and flew over to my shoulder, holding my wand in his beak. The wand that is making all this more interesting and mysterious, the wand I know basically nothing about.

''Thank you, Faris.'' I pet his head, which made him lean closer into my touch.

Hermione said that we couldn't get breakfast, since we woke up late, and we were going to be a minute late to class if we didn't get there at that very moment. I groaned, letting Faris fly off to collect my mail so he could deliver it at lunch. I'm just hoping I won't get complaints of people's owls as they go missing.

We thankfully made it to class on time, as McGonagall turned into a cat and sat on her desk. I was fascinated by the fact she could turn to an animal at will, Hermione was bound to have a book about that, but then I remember the last time I used one of her books. She had yelled at me for 'flipping the pages too quickly'.

I reached into my bag, pulling out a specific book about some of the creatures and monsters of the magical world. I had yet to see anything about vampires, which I was a little relieved about. I found a page about Animagi, which was what McGonagall happened to be. There was also a couple pages about werewolves, which I had found most interesting.
