''I can't believe they are going to kill Buckbeak! It's just too horrible.'' Hermione spoke, shaking her head as she walked next to me. We had just passed the executioner, who was wearing mostly black while he sharpens an axe that sat in his lap. He had crowd surrounding him all around the courtyard, ironic enough.
''It just got worse.'' Ron added, looking over towards where the standing stones were. Malfoy was crouched there, binoculars up to his face. Pike and Crabbe are standing next to him, watching Hagrid's hut, where Buckbeak was currently sitting.
''What did I tell you? Father said I can keep the hippogriff's head. I think I'll donate it to the Gryffindor's Common Room.'' Malfoy spoke from far out. I couldn't help but be more mad then I was before, but I decided to tone it back just a bit from the bloodlust that's running through my body. Hermione starts stomping her way over to Malfoy. ''Oh, this is going to be rich.''
''Look who's here.'' Crabbe turned, speaking out. Malfoy got up and looked at us, holding out his arms mockingly.
''Ah, come to see the show?'' He seems quite happy.
''You! You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!'' She whips out her wand, pointing it at Malfoy's neck, anger evident on her face.
''Hermione, no! He's not worth it.'' Ron argued.
''I mean, he kind of deserves it.'' I shrugged, crossing my arms as Malfoy glared at me. Hermione lowers her wand, before turning around. She started to walk towards us, before Malfoy chuckled and Hermione spun back around, throwing her fist into his face. When she did, his head hit the back of the rock, Pike and Crabbe started panicking from beside him.
''Malfoy, are you okay? Let's go! Quick!'' Crabbe ushered, helping Malfoy to his feet with the help of Pike. As they passed by, Malfoy glanced over at me, his eyes searching my face. I didn't know why, but it seemed they his eyes held some sort of worry, concern. Possibly as if he even cared about how I was.
As much as I was confused, I couldn't linger on it for long. Shaking those thoughts out of my head, I turned back to the trio.
''That felt good.'' Hermione commented. I smiled at her as eh reciprocated.
''Not good. Brilliant.'' Ron added, looking between the three of us. Harry nodded in agreement. Soon we moved on, making our way down to Hagrid's hut. Currently, we stood in his hut, Hagrid standing at the window as he watched Buckbeak out in the garden; chained.
