''𝙄'𝙢 𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙬𝙖𝙮.''

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽, 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. Stan was driving the bus of course, whole I was awake and staring out a window from the lounge room. Stan couldn't see me, because there was a door and window that separated the area of the driver to the rest of the bus.

Daphne talked in her sleep but it was all muddled, I didn't understand a word she had said. I didn't know if Parkinson was asleep either, because when I had walked past her door the light was shining from the crack between the bottom of the door and the floor. Maybe she slept with the light on? I don't even want to know how she does that.

I could hear Theo's snoring through the door that he shared with Marcus, imagining Marcus with a pillow wrapped around his head and pulled over his ears. It wasn't a very annoying snore, it was more of a light snore.

I'm guessing Blaise and Malfoy are also still asleep, they didn't have any lights on and I couldn't hear anything from my side of the door. I didn't want to go back into my room at the moment, because I hadn't felt tired anymore, so I resorted to staying in the lounge for a small while.

It was almost a full moon out tonight, the stars glimmering around the huge white ball of neon. Sometimes I wonder if we could actually visit the moon, since we are magical folk after all. Maybe, just maybe, it's possible.

''Couldn't sleep?'' A groggy voice asked from the hallway that cut between the lounge and the kitchen.

''You guessed it.'' I glanced at the figure, before looking back out the window. As I heard his footsteps and feel him sit next to me on the couch, I looked at him through the window trying to find his reflection.

I wanted to know if this was just another illusion and this time, it wasn't. It was the actual Malfoy sitting next to me on the couch with his eyes barely opened. When I looked over at the boy, I saw his head was in his hands as he leaned forward slightly.

''What are you awake for? You seem like you need to sleep, and bad.'' I questioned.

''Very funny. It doesn't concern you why I chose what I did.'' Malfoy retorted, I could see the grip in his hair become slightly tighter as he responded.

''Chill out, Malfoy. It was just a question, no need to answer if you don't want too.'' I waved him off, looking away from the window and sitting down in the couch. On my other side was a pillow, that I had grabbed and put against the arm rest of the couch, then leaned against the pillow.

It was a silence, a chilling silence that we had been waiting in for about five minutes. Though, it felt like it's been hours, maybe even years. Then I remembered something, something that I want able to ask Dumbledore, but Malfoy would do for now.

''I have a question.''

''Keep it to yourself.'' Malfoy retorted, only for me to ignore him.

''How do Muggleborns get their magic?'' I asked, not switching my gaze to look at the blonde. Malfoy was confused by my question, I could tell by the way he shuffled in his spot.

''Why?''

''Why? I want to know how I got my magical abilities.'' I now looked at the boy, seeing him in the same position as before. Malfoy sighed, before starting to speak again.
