He said that he was making sure his friends and family were safe, and not ending up like Barty Crouch was earlier. I didn't say it out loud, but I was glad that Barty Crouch was dead. He was a creep and not to mention, he tried to obliviate me.

In the middle of the talk that Hermione and I were having, Ron had asked if he could talk to me in private. I agreed with a raised brow, Ron quickly rushing up to his dorm room. Hermione was sitting on the couch, confused on why she could listen too. Nobody was in Ron's dorm room, since they were mostly down in the Common Room or on their way, and Harry was having a talk with Dumbledore at the moment.

Fred and George also happened to be there, throwing pillows back and forth. They only stopped when the door opened and they saw Ron and I walk in, which they had them thrown both of their pillows at me. Turns out, the pillows belonged to Neville and Dean. I know this because one of the pillows smelled like flowers while the other one had the word 'Dean' on the side. Seamus had also written his name on his pillow, something about not letting each other steal the others pillow.

I had sat down on the end of Seamus' bed while Ron sat at the end of his, the twins sitting on either side of me. I didn't know what this was about, but I felt like I was about to pass out when Ron told me that he knew something. Apparently, when they took our belongings for the second task - after they had put us unconscious and underwater - they had stuffed them in boxes with our names on them.

In my box was simply my wand with the note from Malfoy wrapped around the handle. Ron's had a few balled up candy wrappers, his wand, and an owl feather. But while they were putting our belongings in the box, they happened to mix up one of Ron's things into my box. A small packet of of sweets had ended up being in my box, sweets that Ron didn't have enough money to buy another one of.

Ron was the first one to grab his belongings from the boxes, so he was able to easily find the box of sweets among them all. Though when he had reached my box, he got curious about what was wrapped around the handle of my wand. Fred and George had been there with him, asking how it felt under the Black Lake and if he fell in love with a Mermaid.

The three of them had seen the note and George put together that Malfoy was the one who written it, while Fred said that it was addressed to me and not that I had stolen or taken the note from the floor. Ron was more confused that it was a note from Malfoy, to me, with words that put together a sentence that state that he wants to meet me at the Astronomy Tower while everyone follows the rule about curfew.

And that's how I ended up in the Gryffindor Boys Dorm with Fred and George sandwiching me between them and Ron sitting across from us. I tried to lie, but they wouldn't settle for it. Especially when the twins are basically living like detectors. I did the only thing I could've done, I told them the truth.

I had told them about how Malfoy helped me solve the riddle to the second task for Cedric, and how he had insisted that I fall asleep the night before. I also happened to say that Malfoy didn't seem as bad as we all name him to be. Surprisingly enough, the three Weasley's all agreed. Ron had noticed that Malfoy stopped calling Hermione a Mudblood, or hadn't said anything relatively mean about her.
