31| Uncovering The Truth

''𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙛? 𝘼𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨''

𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. I split with Harry and Ron, they said that they were going to talk over what they had uncovered from Malfoy's rant while we were in the Slytherin Common Room. 

As for me, I held a book in my hands as I went out towards the Room of Requirement. I needed someplace quiet for the time being, so I decided that would be the best place for it. I held the same book in my hands that I had found last time, wanting to continue my reading from where I had left off. 

Just like every other time, I went to the same corridor and the same dead end, feeling the familiar earthquake feeling under my feet before the door showed itself in the wall. On the other side was the same library as before, with the same furniture in the same places. When I sat down on the couch, Faris could be heard flying through the window with Oscar behind him. 

''Why now?'' I asked myself. Faris landed, knocking Oscar off his feet when he landed on the table next to the eagle. ''Be nice, for now.'' I waved my hand at Faris, taking the tan letter from Oscar's beak. 

 I had already knew who it was from, the only person that ever used Oscar was myself and the stranger that has been randomly owling me since the beginning of first year. Though, Marcus wasn't here to read the letter with me this time. It made me feel a little uneasy about even reading the letter. 

Oscar made a noise, which sounded like he was urging me to open the letter so that he could fly back to his owner. I sent the bird a glare and slowly opened the letter, pulling out the parchment inside.

As I have stated before, I cannot tell much of who I 

work with and why I do what I do. I cannot tell you 

anything of my whereabouts or my connections,

either. 

About the Chamber, I have heard it has been opened.

The Heir of Slytherin is in Hogwarts now, and only the Heir 

can close it too. Keep a close eye out, the monster that 

lurks in those Chambers isn't the friendliest.
