Maybe this school wasn't as safe as I once thought it was, maybe Mr. Crouch had died because someone is trying to get to me. That's what happens every year, and the same thing repeats itself. Hermione had gone to tell Y/n about our findings, but I haven't heard from her since.

I didn't know where Ron went either, he just said that he was going back to the Gryffindor Common Room. I'd only hope that he was going to check and make sure the rest of his family were alive and well, after seeing a dead body of someone in the Ministry. Hopefully Dumbledore would have the answer. He usually does.

As I arrived at Dumbledore's office, voices had echoed through the door and reached my ears. I decided not to make myself known just yet, pressing my ear close to the door so I could hear what they were saying. It seemed like Fudge had came not too long ago when Dumbledore had gotten news that Barty Crouch was dead.

''A man has died here. And he won't be the last, you must take action.'' Dumbledore sounded stern, which is something that I hadn't really heard from him. Usually he sounds like he couldn't care less, but when it came to Ministry people dying on Hogwarts grounds, he seems to want something done instantly.

''I will not.'' Fudge denied. ''In times like these, the Wizard World looks to it's leaders strength, Dumbledore.'' He tried to reason with the man.

''Then for once, show them some.''

''The Tri-Wizard Tournament will not be cancelled. I will not be seen as a coward.'' Fudge seemed a little sheepish to admit something like that, since I've seen him as a coward for a while now. And I know that I'm not the only one to think that.

''But surely that is what's right, no matter what others think.'' Dumbledore responds.

''What did you say?'' Fudge sounded highly offended. ''What did you say to me?''

''Excuse me, gentleman, it may interest you to know that this conversation is no longer private.'' Moody pipes up from near the door, I didn't know he was in the room until now. Before anyone else could open the door, I back away a little and raise my hand to make it look like I was about to knock.

Moody had opened the door with his wand, making it look like the perfect scene. Dumbledore was standing near his desk, with Fudge halfway up the small set of stairs that led to where Dumbledore currently stood. Moody was off to the side, watching without interrupting. Besides the one time. When I casted a glance at Moody, I saw that his real eye was looking between Fudge and Dumbledore.
