Rosie bounced anxiously on her heels as her eyes stayed locked down the hall. There weren't enough words to describe how much she missed her boyfriend. And despite being minutes away from meeting Declan's parents, she was more excited than anything else to be back with the Irish lad.

The green eyed girl checked her phone, trying not to groan seeing his plane landed 10 minutes ago. But before she could curse to herself, Rosie heard a shout.

"Bug!"

She couldn't help but light up seeing Declan close to sprinting for her. Not once ever has he moved so fast. The older lad was running at full speed, even with a bag slung over his shoulder and slamming against his side.

"Holy shit, I missed you!" Declan picked her up as soon as she was close enough and pressed their lips together heavily.

Rosie laughed against him, too happy as she cupped his cheeks and for the first time in a week, had his arms around her, "where are your parents and Conor?" she asked nervously, not needing them to see this.

"I ran away from them to give you a proper kiss," Declan laughed sheepishly as he settled her on her feet, "might be able to sneak one or two more."

Rosie raised her eyebrows at him. She was close to melting where she was with how softly her boyfriend was smiling at her. His eyes were so bright as he looked down at her, and it was the exact look Rosie has been longing to see. The younger girl couldn't say she was any better though. She missed him almost too much and hoped when she tugged him down to connect their lips that he felt how much.

Despite being in the middle of the baggage claim Rosie couldn't care as their mouths moved together. Her boyfriend refusing to let her go, and the green eyed girl was going to hold onto this moment for as long as she could.

"Oh yeah Dec, show her how much you missed her!"

Apparently the moment couldn't last though.

Declan abruptly pulled away hearing his brother's shout, his face too quickly heating up as Conor smirked at him, "did you run after me? Geez," he breathed out annoyed.

"So what if I did? Maybe I'm excited to see Rosie too."

"Well not as much as me, so please, some space," Declan shooed him away, not so subtly nodding to where the luggage was starting to come out.

Conor rolled his eyes, but he was still smiling, "hi Rosie, it's good to see you," he chuckled before heading off to grab their bags.

"Are you alright?" Rosie tried not to laugh a little seeing Declan death glaring his brother.

"I missed you," Declan breathed out before tucking his head into her neck, "all I've wanted for the past week is us."

Rosie swallowed thickly as she nodded and tightly wrapped her arms around him, "I missed you too."

"I was wondering if you and I could have some alone time before we all go to your dads'?" Declan asked quietly, "I just need to decompress with you."

"Did something happen at your parent's?" Rosie asked gently as she carded the fingers through the back of his hair.

Declan shook his head, "no, I've just never had someone to miss so much before and it was hard being away," he bit his lip, "I'm okay, the holiday was a little rough not having you with me."

Rosie let out a small breath as she nodded and rested her head on his chest.

On Christmas they were on the phone for close to 3 hours, and the green eyed girl wasn't sure if she's ever talked to someone for so long. She and Declan definitely have their quiet nights sometimes, but being away from him and only having their phones the two couldn't help their nonstop chatter. It was as if they each had to update one another on absolutely everything and went back and forth about what they wanted to do when Declan got home.
