Harry picked his head up as he heard Niall yelling another order, their cooks moving around in a rush to get plates up. He honestly can't remember the last time they were this busy for breakfast but like always his team can keep up. Harry was only slightly worried for Declan, knowing the Irish lad has never been hit like this and it was showing a little bit.

"I need plates!" Harry called out, their clean stack getting smaller and smaller.

"I got'em," Niall said before rushing for the dish pit and seeing a slightly frazzled Declan, "hey mate, you got plates?"

"Yeah, right here," Declan said as he reached for the clean stack, "sorry I was just about to-"

The two blue eyed men jumped at the loud crash as the plates slipped and hit the floor, Declan freezing and Niall looking back at him wide eyed.

"What the hell was that?!"

"Don't say anything," Niall said in a rush to Declan just as Harry came stomping towards them, "H it was me, I'm sorry, I was in a hurry and they fell."

Harry's face went hard as he looked at his brother in law, "Niall you need to be more careful! That'll be three times in the past 2 months you've broken plates!" he said annoyed, "I have the line, you clean this up," Harry huffed as he rolled his eyes.

Declan swallowed thickly, his heart coming to a screeching halt as he saw how angry the curly haired man got, "thank you isn't enough," he was barely able to mutter to Niall before reaching for a broom.

"Scary Harry is nothing to mess with," Niall laughed quietly, "plus I do break plates a lot, so he won't think twice about it," he clapped Declan on the back as he started to sweep the mess of broken pieces.

"I'm sorry Niall," Declan said, as badly as he wanted to meet his eyes he couldn't.

"Don't worry about it mate, you're human," Niall waved off before he reached for another clean stack of plates, "keep up the good work buddy, you're doing great."

Declan knew he needed the reassurance and he was more than grateful for it. Today has been unlike any other easy paced morning and the Irish lad was petrified he couldn't keep up. Declan certainly didn't think he would be breaking anything and it only made his nerves worse, not wanting to make another mistake.

But he didn't have much longer until he was done, and Declan made sure everything was in order for the next dishwasher who was coming in. He didn't want to leave without a quick conversation with Harry though, there being something the blue eyed lad wanted to talk to him about.

"Hey buddy, you heading out?" Harry offered him a small smile.

"Yeah," Declan tried to grin back at him, a bit surprised at how furious Harry seemed earlier and now he was back to his bubbly self, "there uhm, there was actually something I wanted to talk to you about," he scratched the back of his neck and shuffled on his feet.

Harry furrowed his eyebrows, "is everything okay?" he put his mixing bowl down, wanting to give him his full attention.

"Yeah, yeah, everything's fine," Declan nodded back at him, seeing him worry for a moment "I just uh- well I got me last paycheck and it was £200 over... I wasn't sure if it was a mistake but uhm, I can give it back to you."

Harry smiled to himself as he shook his head, "no it was on purpose," he said, his dimples popping out as he saw Declan a bit stuck, "I didn't say anything, but Rosie is gonna ask you something and I wanted to put a few extra bucks in your pocket for when you say yes."
