Todoroki sat in Uraraka’s room as the girl danced about in glee.   He was beginning to regret coming to her.

The last week had been nice.  Midoriya had not set any expectations, and he seemed happy to just spend time with his soulmate.   Many of their classmates had insisted on getting more questions answered about the previous events.  Midoriya had taken over the lead, trying to stop questions about Endeavour,; something the duel eyed boy was grateful for.

Now...now he had gone to Midoriya's best friend and asked her for help on redoing the first date.   He reaction?

"I knew it was a date!"

Something she was still chanting.   He watched her, growing worried as it didn't seem to be ending.

"Ochako?" He called softly.  The brunette stopped, stared at him then skipped over.

Plopping onto her bed, she hugged him.  "Don't worry," she assured.  "I won't say anything. "

Todoroki sighed.  "Everyone knows we are soulmates."

Uraraka giggled and let him go.  "I mean that you, the great Todoroki Shoto asked for help."

She patted his shoulder and stood, thinking.  "So a first date.  Huh, what to do..."

"No, a redo of the first date," the heterochromatic boy clarified.  "The first one was a disaster. "

Uraraka grinned.   "And I definitely won't tell our broccoli boy that was a date either."

Todoroki sighed.  "It wasn't...really.  at least until near the end."

Uraraka smiled, watching his face.  "What do you like about him?"

"His smile.  It's....the warmest smile I've ever felt," the teen breathed.  "I never smiled myself until I met him.  I...I always felt numb before..."

Uraka listened, watching his face as he spoke.  "I have the best idea."

Todoroki looked up, eyes hopeful.  "Yes?"

She sat beside him again.  "First, offer to just spend the day with him.   Next, tell him he gets to either pick activities or food for the day."

"Huh?" The boy frowned.

"He either gets to pick what you all eat all day or he gets to pick the activities," she explained.  "And you pick the other.  That way you learn about each other."

"Oh," he muttered considering what he could offer.  "But...I do not cook well."

The brunette sighed.  "You can go out to eat or try cooking together or order in," she explained.

The boy seemed deep in thought.  "And this is a good first date?"

Uraraka nodded.  "Deku won't push you into anything.   He likes you too much.  And he respects that this is new to you.  So spending the day just learning about each other is perfect."

The boy nodded and stood.  "Thank you for your help.  I have things to check on before tomorrow. "

The brunette just nodded, giggling as she sent her beat friend a message assuring him that he had a great day coming up.
