chapter 133

Me and derek got home from hawaii today. We walk into our apartment. Me and mia scream, running over to eachother. I scoop her into my arms. She giggles.

"Mama" she hugs me tight. I smile brightly. "My baby" I kiss her cheek. I frown. "Where's lucas?" I ask.

"Dada" Mia holds her arms out for him. "Hi sweetheart" he takes her, hugging her tight. She giggles as he kisses her face.

I look at Carol. "Bedroom" she says. I  walk away. I go back and hug Carol. She chuckles softly. "I missed you too" I say.

"You were gone a week.. calm down" she says. "I missed you too meredith" I mumble sarcastically. She chuckles. "I did miss both of you" she says. I grin.

I go into mine and Derek's room. I frown as I look at lucas sat on the middle of the massive bed by himself. "Hi monkey" I sit infront of him. "Hi mommy" he says.

"What's wrong sweetie?" I kiss his head. He starts crying. "Oh.. baby, what's wrong?" I put my hands on his cheeks. He sniffles.

"I had another accident when you weft" he sobs. I pick him up, pulling him into my arms. "Sweetheart.. its okay" I hug him tight. He sniffles.

"Weally? Awe you mad?" He asks. "No baby, of course not.. you're three years old.. its normal to have accidents sometimes.. thats what nappies are for" I smile, wiping his tears.

"I wove you mama" he cuddles Into me. "I love you more" I kiss his nose. "Will daddy be mad?" He asks. "Of course not" I say.

"Can I see dada?" He asks. "Go on" I smile, lifting him to the floor. He runs to the living room. I follow him. After the kids say hi to derek they go to their room with Carol.

I start crying, walking over to derek. I push my face into his chest. "What?" He asks. "Lucas thought we'd be mad at him for wetting the bed" I sob into his chest.

"What? But you didn't" he says. "No, but he thought we would" I say. "Its okay" he says, hugging me. "No it isn't.. he's so cute and he was crying" my lip trembles. "Now you know how I feel" he wipes my tears.

I smile small. "Can we go back to hawaii?" I whine. "Yes" he says. I chuckle.

"Dada" Mia walks over to us. "Yeah sweetie?" He kneels infront of her. "Mama you too" she tugs on my dress. I chuckle softly, kneeling down to her.

"Me and gwandma made bwacelets when you went away.. you have one.. and you have one" she puts it on Derek's wrist, not tying it properly. She passes me mine too.

"I can't do mine" lucas passes me his. I tie it on his wrist for him loosely. Derek ties mine and I tie his. "Thankyou princess" Derek's hugs her, kissing her cheek. She smiles.

"Thankyou baby" I kiss her nose. "You'we welcome" she giggles. "Monkey" I say. He looks at me. He giggles as I scoop him into my arms. I kiss his cheek.

"Do you wanna sleep with us tonight?" I ask them. They both nod. "But mommy-" he whispers. "Its okay baby" I smile, kissing his cheek, already knowing what he's going to say.

"You'll have your diaper on" I whisper in his ear. "Okay" he smiles. "Do you know.. when me and mommy were nine.." Derek says.

I put lucas down. They look at him. "We were having a sleepover and in the middle of the night she peed herself" he says. Mia giggles. I groan.

"You're never gonna let me forget that, are you?" I say. He grins. "On me!.. she peed on me" he says. They both laugh  I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, I had to clean it up" Carol says. "I'm sorry!" I say. They all laugh.

A little while later, Carol leaves and we get the twins read for bed. "Me and daddy got you presents when we were away" I say.

"Weally?" Mia asks. I nod. We pass them the teddies. They thank us. We all get into bed. They cuddle the teddies as we cuddle them. We all eventually fall asleep.
