"Shre, could you please drop us at the nearby rural village in your car?" Mom asks when I step into her cabin.
I look around and frown, "us?"
She smiles cheekily and points toward the right side. I follow her gaze and find Avyuktha coming out of the bathroom. "Why is she here?" I narrow my gaze at mom.
"Because even rural areas have kids and they need a paediatrician," Avyuktha says and props her palms on the table, smirking at me.
Mom looks between us as I and Avyuktha glare at each other.
"Okay, cut it out, kids" Mom stands between us, "Shreyan, please drop us. My car is sent for servicing and Avyuktha didn't get her car. She came on scooty."
My eyes cut to Avyuktha. "I will not let her step into my car," I grit out and stand up, glaring at Avyuktha, "She crashed into my car, mom."
"I told you sorry," Avyuktha yells knocking on my head and jumping.
"Fuck!" I scratch my hair, "You sorry didn't get my car fine! The dent is so huge."
She looks at me with her hands on her waist, "I told you sorry for hurting your emotions and I gave you money to get your car fine. What else could I do than it?" she yells.
"I don't need your fucking money," I yell back, "I threw them away the minute you left."
Her nose flares up and she turns to mom, "Aunty, your son is a jerk. He is so arrogant. Why don't you abandon him?" she says and glares at me.
I look at her in disbelief. "Hey! You mad girl, she is my mom. You don't crop your stupid ideas in her head," I say, pushing her and I hug mom.
"Aunty, look he is so annoying," she pushes me and hugs mom.
"God! Mom, why did you even hire her? She is behaving as if she is my senior doctor," I tell mom and pull her to me.
"She knew how capable I am while you only care who dents your car and who obeys you like they are your slaves," she snaps.
"Argh...mom, she is so annoying," I groan.
She puffs her cheeks and pins me with a narrowed gaze, "Not more than you."
"Will you both stop it?" Mom intervenes when I am about to snap back. We both stave our gaze to the ground. "Avi, get your bag and Shre, start the car," she orders.
"I won't come in his car," Avyuktha says immediately.
"I am glad because I can't risk my car getting punctured the moment you sit on it," I smirk at her red face.
She turns to mom and smiles, "Aunty, I'll come by my scooter. You both come by his car."
I sigh in relief. "Mom, shall we go?" I ask her. She glares at me.
