"Annu?" I look at Viaan in disbelief. "I am not ready to listen to any shit you are gonna tell about my husband. Please move out."
"Listen, Avi," he yells making me flinch. He reaches me and squeezes my hand, "Listen to me for once. Please."
I swat his hand and look away, folding my hands over my chest. I don't want to listen to him nor want him to stay with me even for another second but if this is how I can get rid of him, it's fine. I can't bear any more drama in my life.
He clears his throat and starts, "Your husband is not what you see-"
"Done?" I snap at him.
He releases a frustrated sigh and grits his teeth, "Goddamn, Avi. Listen, please," he glares at me and I glare back at him with equal rage and irritation. "Shreyan is using you."
"Enough!" I scream, "Not a word against my husband again. Get out."
"You won't believe me. I know that. That's why I got the proofs," he flips his phone at me and I look into it. "It was your husband who leaked your pics and everything about you and him to the media on the fire accident day."
I hesitantly play the video and see Annu giving his phone to the news channel editor. My eyes burn with tears when he orders the channel editor to spread rumours about us and he throws a bunch of currency notes. Then there is another video where Annu is confessing everything to his friends.
"Why?" I whisper.
Viaan sits next to me and wraps his arm on my shoulder. "Shreyan bruised Vansh's ego. Vansh planned on constructing buildings for the people who stay on the roads with his money. His intention was good but the way of making it was illegal. He can't let go of his chances to win the elections, can he? So, he conquered a few people's lands and Isha’s restaurant was one of them. Then, Shreyan bruised his ego beating him. Vansh was burning in anger and every minute his concentration was to make Shreyan go through the same thing. So, he burnt Shreyan's hospital," I close my eyes and nip my lips to control my sobs. "I know Shreyan's hospital gonna burn down. You were in love with him. Your father has a slight idea about what was happening between us and I didn't want him to take you away from me. So, to make my background strong, I instigated all the board members to remove your dad as CEO. All I wanted was you, so, this way your dad would have no choice but to get you married to me instead of Shreyan who has nothing now. But everything turned upside down when he had a heart attack."
