Done with semester exams. Phew...!!!

I would have published it yesterday itself but I was tired. Sorry for the lateness.

Here is the chapter...

Enjoy reading.

“So, shall we meet uncle?” I ask Avyuktha who is sitting on the chairs. Her fingers are wrapped around my arm and her head resting on my shoulder. “Or do you need some more time?” she is scared to meet her dad. One is because she doesn't want to see him in that state and no daughter would like to witness their father like that. The other is because she is afraid to tell him that she is calling off the marriage with that donkey face Viaan.

The atmosphere around seems not only cold but also agonising. Avyuktha’s mom is silent after what she saw on the news channel and now, on us! Ridha, Avyuktha’s sister had gone to their villa for rest, not before glaring at us. Vansh, Avyuktha’s brother-in-law seems to care about us a little less now as he is clearing up the mess because of the news channel.

I smirk at his distressed face.

“I don't know how he is gonna react,” she presses her fingers together, looking at her lap.

How cute she is with that cute frown over her forehead. It's been just fucking 6 hours since I told her that I love her and I am in Avyuktha’s world completely.

“I am on it,” I squeeze her hand and intertwine our fingers, “Uncle will be happy for us.”

“He hates you,” she snaps. “You fought with me two months ago. You walked away from him when he came to Riya’s engagement ceremony disrespecting him.”

I shake my head with a slight chuckle, “Well, he will hate me for making his princess my queen.”

“Stop it!” she hits my chest, “You are being cheesy.”

I smile while she looks at me with a smile, “Your smile,” she kisses the back of my palm, “is like Annu’s.” I smile again.

“Can I ask you something?” she turns to me completely.

“Yes,” I sing.

She giggles, “Okay,” she props her elbows on the armrest and looks into my eyes which are guarding my heart by helping me to be emotionless, “You seem unaffected like you haven't lost anything? I mean, I am sorry if I crossed the lines, but I was just curious why are you so cool after so much happened in your life in a night?”

The flames in my eyes raise again and my jaw thins, “The destruction of that bastard who did this to my family had started,” I grit my teeth, “If he thought I will sit back and watch when he destroys my family, then, he tripped into dirtiest pit ever.”

“So, you knew who did this to the hospital?” I remain silent, “Is it Viaan?”

I look at her with a smile and press my lips against hers, “You don't need to worry about anything.”
