Okay, it's my Parents' 30th wedding anniversary today, so I updated this one dedicating it to their 30 years of togetherness overcoming every hurdle, and pain, handling kids, making a future for us, and sacrificing their wishes. I love them!!! 💓

The reviews on the previous chapter were just terrible. I didn't plan to update at all since I was quite disappointed with that but due to my parents' anniversary I had to.

If this chapter crosses 180+ votes in 24 hours, there will be a double update for sure!

“So, today we are going to talk to Viaan about this illegal thing. I don't know how I will react if that asshole riles me up,” I tell Dad and rub my face.

Dad places his palm on my shoulder and pats me, “Don't lose your anger easily, Shre. Obviously, he will try to provoke you but you should have self-control,” he says calmly.

Avyuktha walks to us and hands us coffee. I wink at her and she glares. Today she is looking gorgeous with my marks on her neck which she didn't notice I guess. Dressed in black Kurti, complimenting her fair complexion and the vermillion in her hairline, she looks all mine and beautiful.

“Any problem, uncle?” she ignores me and sits beside Dad. He looks at me and I shake my head. He blinks his eyes. “Both of you! Stop your eye talk.” She looks cute with puffed cheeks.

Dad laughs and kisses her forehead, “No eye talks!” Dad pretends to be scared and she grins. What is this stupid satisfaction of hers when she intimidates us? She is stupid. My stupid wife. “And, no problems. You don't need to worry.”

She looks between us and her dubious fixates on Dad, “Are you sure, Uncle?” she asks.

“Yes.”

“Okay!” she grins looking ahead. Mom comes to us and sits beside me. “Uncle and Aunty, I think I should go to work again.”

She didn't discuss it with me. It's not that I would oppose her. It's just I want to be involved in her life like no one ever can.

“Deciding to work or not is your call, Avi,” Mom smiles, “You don't need to take our permission.”

Dad nods agreeing with Mom, “Btw, have you contacted any hospitals?” he asks her.

She nods, “I did, and tomorrow morning I have one,” she says.

“Good.”

I stand up and straighten my shirt, “I'm leaving.” I start to walk taking huge steps knowing very well my little wife will follow me.

“But...” and she does! Avyuktha follows me rambling, “Tonight, you, I, and Riya have dinner plans. Also, you need to pick Riya. Her car is sent for servicing.”

I turn around suddenly and she bumps into my chest. “Ouch! You are a rock,” she rubs her nose which turns red instantly.

I chuckle and pull her in my arms, “You didn't tell me you were ready to work,” I tuck her hair strands behind her ear, “Disrespecting your husband just after a month after marriage, huh?”
