A sudden scream, twice as loud as all the others had been, erupted from the forest. I glanced at the trees, then had to look back from shock.
"Sirius! Sirius, look!"
"What Remus? I'm-oh my god! Remus-Sarah, and Harry!"
I nodded and took off towards the woods, praying the Dark Mark wasn't there to mark someone's death.
When Sirius and I had reached the edge of the forest, we met Arthur Weasley. None of us stopped, but instead kept running towards the center of the woods.
We reached the center to find the four children, all close to the ground, three trying to avoid the spells being shot at them.
"STOP! THOSE ARE OUR KIDS!" Arthur, Sirius, and I all shouted at the same time.
The spells stopped and Harry looked up ever so slightly.
"Ron-Harry-Hermione-" Arthur's voice shook. "What happened?"
I looked around him, and saw the still form of Sarah sprawled on the ground.
Ignoring what was happening, I dove towards Sarah. I fell beside her, then started trying to wake her up.
When Amos Diggory started talking about what rule the house-elf had broken, I interrupted.
"We know what the rule is, Amos! Now, can someone help me here? Ennervate isn't working!" Sirius paled and walked over.
When Barty Crouch and the Ministry people decided that Harry, Ron, and Hermione hadn't cast the Dark Mark, I pulled out a piece of cloth.
At Harry's questioning glance, I said, "It's enchanted to stop the bleeding, and to stay there until someone takes it off."
He nodded.
We carried Sarah back to the Weasley's tent, where Sirius put Sarah in an armchair.
"What happened?!" Ginny cried when she saw Sarah soaked in blood, her once white tank top now a deep crimson, the ends of her hair a darker shade of red than was natural. "Is she-?"
"No, she's just unconscious. She's lost so much blood that Ennervate doesn't work though," I explained as a small moan of intense pain left the bloodstained girl in the chair by the entrance.
