To Hogwarts

Several days later, we all sat on the Hogwarts Express, eating Pumpkin Pasties and Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, and telling Annalise what Hogwarts would be like.

"It's amazing, it takes my breath away every time!" Said Morgana.

"You never get tired of seeing it." gushed Crystal.

"All the classes are so much fun!" Hermione cried.

"Quit polluting her mind, Hermione! She might be a prankster yet!" Fred scolded, flapping his hand at Hermione.

She looked affronted. "Oh hush, Fred. I think you, George, Lee, and Sarah have that department handled." She told him.

"OI! What's that supposed to mean?" I cried.

"Nothing! I just meant-OOOHHH, just shut up!" she shouted, turning red.

At that moment, the door slid open, and Draco and his two cronies stood outside it.

"Upset are we, Granger? Weaslbee do something stupid again?" Malfoy sneered.

"Oh, go step on a Lego, Malfoy," I said calmly.

"And what's that supposed to be?" He asked sourly.

"A Lego is a plastic Muggle children's toy that hurts like Hades when you step on one. So you can go frolic naked and barefoot in a field full of them on a winter's night in Antarctica, okay?" I said, just as sweet as I could.

"You really think it would hurt me?" He asked.

I nodded, and he snorted.

"Don't believe me?" I asked. "What if I coat the floor of the Slytherin Common Room with them? What would you do then?"

"Stay in my dorm," he replied in a nasty voice.

"And miss a day of classes? Naughty, naughty, you'll get caught-y," I cautioned in a voice as close to Peeves' as I could get it.

He snarled, then turned and walked away, Crabbe and Goyle sticking their tongues out before leaving.

"Oh, real mature! Stick your tongues out and leave! TWENTY POINTS FROM SLYTHERIN!" I called out the compartment door.

A girl snorted. "You can't do that. You don't have that power," she said.

"And? You have your dreams, don't crush mine," I said, then came back into the compartment as conversation about Hogwarts picked back up.

We all went and changed into our robes a few minutes later, and soon thereafter we were at Hogwarts.

As I stared at it from the window of the carriage, I smiled and knew that this place would always be my first home.
