You have GOT to be Kidding Me.

Several days before the first task, I had put myself in sort of a calmed terror.

I was still doubting, still avoiding the Great Hall, but I wasn't panicking anymore.

I was sitting in the kitchen with Hermione at lunchtime, pretending to eat when suddenly she cried "Oh, yeah!" which made me jump about a mile.

"What?" I gasped, clutching at my heart.

"I just remembered that Hagrid said to meet him at his house with Harry's cloak at seven," she said.

"Oh," I replied. "Okay."

The rest of the day progressed normally, and seven o'clock found me knocking on Hagrid's front door.

"Is that ye, Sarah?" He whispered.

"Yeah, it's me," I whispered in return.

He grinned and stepped out to reveal a rather unattractive furry brown suit. "I'm glad ye came. I-" suddenly he stopped and looked to the left, allowing me to see his hair.

"Hagrid," I said stunned. "Have you tried putting your hair up?"

He didn't answer, only blushed and walked towards where he was looking.

I followed him, and found Madame Maxime waiting at the edge of the Forest.

"'Agrid," she almost purred. "I thought you 'ad forgotten me."

"Bonjour," Hagrid replied choppily, his accent ruining the effect of the French. "I could never forge' a madameohseil like you."

She smiled at his effort, but I shuddered at the total destruction of the word.

"You said you 'ad somezing to show me?" She asked.

"Oh, righ'. Follow me, Olympe," he said, offering his arm. "Yer gonna love it."

I watched in horror as the two walked towards the Forest. Hagrid had invited me on his date in the Forbidden Forest!

I shook myself though and followed quickly. Even though with Hagrid there was loads of madness, it usually had a method, or at least an attempt at one.

I followed the pair closely, and as such nearly ran into them when they stopped at the edge of the clearing as a burst of fire lit the area.

"Ye migh' wanna stay here, Olympe," Hagrid said.

"Oh, but Hagrid. Zey are so beautiful!" She cried in awe.

I stepped around the two to see four dragons being wrestled with.

"This isn't working!" One man called. "One the count of three! One! Two! STUPIFY!"

And with that, jets of red filled the sky and four thuds shook the earth.

As the others were pulling the dragons into boxes, one lone figure hurried up to Hagrid as Maxime left to examine the dragons.

"I thought the heads weren't supposed to know either," frowned Charlie Weasley.

Hagrid blushed again, but didn't answer. "Wha' kind of dragons have ye go'?" He asked instead.

"That one over there is a common Welsh Green," he said pointing to a simple green dragon. "Then there's the Chinese Fireball-" here he pointed to a red and orange dragon- "a Swedish Short-Snout-" he pointed to a blue-grey dragon- "and finally the Hungarian Horntail."

This dragon looked about ten times nastier than the others. Even though it was a simple mud-brown in color, it had a spiked tail that looked like it could kill someone with a single scratch.

As I was staring at it, ignoring Charlie and Hagrid's conversation, Charlie said something that caught my attention.

"How's Sarah doing?" He asked. "Remus told Mum she was in the Hospital Wing for a day and she's been panicking ever since. I told her I'd talk to either her or someone else and find out."

Hagrid shook his head. "No' good. I think she's qui' food 'cause she's gotten skinnier."

Charlie hissed. "That's not good. D'you think it'd because of this?"

"Probably," Hagrid replied. "Either tha' or tha students mockin' her. Tha' can take it's toll on ye."

Charlie nodded. "You should've seen Mum when she got Ginny's letter. She lost it. Good thing Dad was able to keep her from Flooing up here. I don't think Dumbledore'd still have a head if he hadn't."

At the point, I turned and left.

How was I supposed to beat a dragon?

There isn't any way to! It took multiple men to stun one, so how am I, an itty-bitty girl, supposed to do anything?

I was leaving the Forest at this point, and saw Karkaroff sneaking in. That meant that everyone but Cedric would know what they were going up against.

I sighed, and apparently it was a loud sigh because Karkaroff heard and whipped his head around before deciding it must've been an animal and going back to sneaking towards the trees.

I sighed again, this time internally as I decided I'd tell Cedric that it was dragons.
