We took a Portkey to the Quidditch Stadium the next day.
We wandered to our campsite after paying for a night's stay there. When we got there, we waved to the Weasleys in the site beside us.
Sirius and Remus started trying to put up the tents, but ended up trying to curse each other into oblivion.
Laughing, I said, "I thought we weren't supposed to use magic."
Harry nodded. "As fun as it is to watch the two of you, we kind of need a place to sleep tonight."
Sirius sighed. "But why?" he whined. "It's fun!"
"Padfoot," I warned, "Do I have to put the thing in your bed again?"
His eyes widened as Remus and Harry fell over laughing. "You wouldn't!" he cried.
I raised my eyebrow. "I did once, didn't I? Who's to say I can't do it again?"
Sirius grinned at me. "I have trained you well, young Flowerlet."
I glared at him. "No you haven't," I said, running to Remus's side. "Moony has!"
Moony hugged me. "Yes, yes I have." he nodded, then laughed at Sirius's pout.
"Seriously-not a word Padfoot-though, we need to set up and get water." I said, then grabbed a pail and Harry's arm before heading over to the Weasley site. "I expect for both tents to be up and the two of you to be whole by the time we get back with water!" I called over my shoulder as I grabbed Ron and Hermione and a couple of containers. Turning to Mr.Weasley, I said, "We're going for water. We'll be back as soon as possible."
He nodded. "I heard," he said, laughing with Fred and George.
As we walked to the water station, we ran into several of our friends from Hogwarts, Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas and several others and did what excited kids on a field trip do, we talked non stop until we we got our water and headed back to the tents.
When we got back, the tents were up and Sirius and Remus were trying to help Mr.Weasley start a fire. After laughing at their attempts, I took the matches from them and started a fire in under a minute.
As we sat waiting for the food to warm, Sirius and Remus got into another argument, causing all of us to duck for cover as we laughed at their complete disregard for the 'no magic' policy. Only when someone cried 'OW!' did they stop. I looked away from the fight and saw a man in yellow Quidditch robes holding his nose, his hand covering most of what looked like a jovial face.
"Sorry about them, Mr..." I trailed off, not knowing who it was.
"Bagman." he replied in a nasally voice. "Ludo Bagman." He stuck his free hand out to me. "Who might you be, young lady?"
"Sarah."I replied, not taking his hand and turning to Remus for help. He seemed to feel my gaze on his back because seconds later, he stood, turned, and headed towards me.
"Ah, Ludo, how are you?" Remus called, sticking out his hand for Bagman to shake. Startled, he took it, then looked back at me for a second.
"This one yours?" he asked, pointing at me.
"In every way possible except blood." Remus replied.
"Oh, an adopted then. Is she as badly behaved as the rest of them?"
"Hey!" I cried indignently. "I only misbehave when there's a reason to!"
Apparently, Sirius and Mr.Weasley had heard us because moments after the words left my mouth, they walked up, nodding in agrement.
"Yes, she's a well-behaved child. In fact, Molly sometimes wishes she would rub off on the twins and Ron after listening to the kids' stories." Mr.Weasley said, sending me a conspiratorial wink saying that nothing he said was true.
"Yeah! I'm an awesome kid." I said, nodding my understanding for Mr.Weasley's joke.
Remus was having a hard time hiding his smile as Mr.Bagman stood and left to find a man called Barty.
As he walked away, everyone fell into raucous peals of laughter, which tripled when Hermione snorted.
"I'm going to go before I die," I said, wiping the tears from my eyes five minutes later.
Harry nodded. "Me too." He stood and stretched, then walked with me back to the tent.
I went inside the tent and collapsed onto my bed, falling asleep almost instantly.
~A high, cold voice filled my ears once more. "You may have defeated me once, but you shall not defeat me again. I have returned, and am gaining strength daily. When we meet again, it will be you that loses everything this time. You will die this time. I will not lose again. You will die. You will die! YOU WILL DIE!~
I woke, my sheets drenched in a freezing sweat, my scar tingling. Just then Hermione came into the tent.
"Hey, get up, it's time to go," she said, pulling some clothes from my bag.
I simply nodded, still a little shaky.
Hermione, being Hermione, noticed this. "Are you okay? You look terrible."
I nodded again. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bad dream."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive," I told her, changing my hair to an almost white blonde. This caused Hermione to look at me funnily.
"I figure the Malfoys will be there, so I thought I'd play a little trick on a Malfoy of the senior variety," I said, grinning slyly.
Hermione shook her head. "You do realize there will be major consequences, right?"
I rolled my eyes. "Of course! That's half the fun when you have two of the most famous pranksters of Hogwarts as your guardians."
She ignored me. "Come on, they're waiting for us."
I grinned and followed her out of the tent, grabbing my souvenir money on the way.
