ZILLA

It's my very first visit to the Palace of Rouguemont, yet they made me feel right at home.

Aella leaned over and whispered to me, "If your father figures out that we came here, we'll both be punished accordingly."

I understand. That was something I have pondered prior to actually coming here. But my father refused to answer all of my queries honestly. Right then I thought that maybe I will find what I am searching for here at this Palace.

Someone else said, "It is a pleasure to have you here and dine with us, your grace."

"Who is he?" I enquired of Aella.

I do not know all or most of the living Gods, notably those who are in this palace. Nothing from them has reached me. Their faces are unknown to me.

"Your grace, please grant me permission to speak. He is Lord Engelfrid." Said the Heavenly Father.

Lord Engelfrid knelt down and said, "It is a privilege to greet you, Goddess Zilla."

As a response, I answered, "It is a pleasure meeting you, Lord Engelfrid," and bowed down a little.

"Lord Muriel and Lord Haniel are their names." As he presented the other two Gods here with us today, the Heavenly Father remarked, "They are my children."

Then I suppose Ariella is not the only one who will eventually desire out the divine palace. Muriel and Haniel, if my mind serve me correctly, are decades her senior.

"There is no need to kneel." Before they could kneel down, I said, "Please."

They responded in chorus, "Thank you, your grace."

"How do I approach you, Heavenly Father?" I asked.

You know, I can't keep calling him that. He must have a name, right? That's the moniker I prefer to use.

"Your Grace, I am Lord Zadkiel." As he bowed down, he explained, "I have been appointed to watch after the divine palace."

"Ohhh, yes, I clearly remember you." I told him, "You are one of my father's closest friends."

He used to frequently see my father at the Herst Keep Palace while I was still a child. That could explain why I couldn't recall his features.

"Yes, your grace, it is I." He said, "Time has passed, and I had no idea you were already a grownup."

"Right. I have not even seen you visiting our palace in years, ever since my father departed on a journey." I remarked.

"Lord Zadkiel has been giving you a nice present and servants on a regular basis, your grace." Aella interrupted.

When I saw her bowing down to me, I gently patted her shoulders and told her to stand up. I am not used to her addressing me with such deference. I mean, she is a good friend of mine, and I have told her to not do anything formal for me since then.
