"But I'm afraid I won't be able to keep my promise to him." Lord Zadkiel said as he reached me.

He swept away my tears while having to pull me in for an embrace and caressing my hair, just like my father does when he sees me shaking and crying.

"Please reconsider my request, your Grace; I, too, am a father, and a father will do anything for his child." Lord Zadkiel quipped.

I took a step back from the embrace and glanced at him. But all he did was smile at me.

"I would be more than able to surrender the divine realm's seat of power to its right holder, Lady Aella." Lord Zadkiel remarked.

Aella, as Ophelia's sole successor, should have been queen and ruler of the divine realm a long time back. Armaros and Ariella, on the other hand, attempted but failed to kill her. They staged her death, and because Lord Zadkiel was Ophelia's understudy at the time, he was granted the throne of the divine realm.

But now that everything is falling back into place...

"I hope you can understand how I feel as a father, your Grace; you see just how much your father was willing to give up just to keep you alive; that is what I am now doing as Ariella's father as well." Lord Zadkiel begged.

"Can I still change your mind?" I wondered aloud.

He laughed a bit and bowed his head before closing his eyes.

"I'm afraid not, your grace." He responded.

As I nodded, I took a deep breath.

"I just hope that when you return to His abode and see my father, you hug him tight for me and tell him how much I love him and owe him my life." I told Lord Zadkiel.

He knelt in front of me and bowed his head.

"As you wish, your grace." Lord Zadkiel went on to say, "And thank you for having to hear my request."

"Thank you for your love and dedication to the divine realm; you have been such a great God, and I would be truly thankful if you could return again someday." I sincerely said.

"Thank you for your great utterances, your grace." Lord Zadkiel said, "And I am more than honored to receive your good wishes."

"Will you see her before you leave?" I wondered aloud.

He stood up and smiled at me before handing me a letter.

"I am afraid I cannot, your grace." Lord Zadkiel said, "But I would like to ask you a favor—to hand this to her after I leave. If you may."

"I'll make sure she reads this. I promise." I assured him.

He nodded and smiled at me.

"Thank you, your Grace. It's been such a remarkable experience and honor to fight with you and fight for the harmony of all the realms. Until we meet again." Lord Zadkiel said as he bowed down once again.

"Until we cross paths again, Lord Zadkiel." I muttered almost in hushed whispers.

He then vanished in front of me, and I know he went straightly to the border seen between Grimtol Fort and the Palace of Rouguemont.

I did watch as the sunny skies darkened and actually started to wind and rain immensely in less than a moment. I could tell he was putting down being a divine being and removing his spiritual core by this point. And at some point, I felt pain in my heart. After all, Lord Zadkiel warmly welcomed me here and took care of me for a short period of time as if I am his own daughter. And now that he flew up to the sky, joining my father, is some other pain.
