ZILLA

I slept through the whole night because I was really exhausted after my wandering and fights the day before. Considering that Lord Lowell has been away for some time, I didn't bother getting up early because I don't have somebody to train me what I need to know. Neither Lord Zadkiel nor my father would want to teach me.

Nevertheless, yes, I intend to leave the palace today and go back to the places of the divine realm to actually check on the immortals, if they are still surviving after what keeps happening.

"What do we have for the morning, Aella?"

I was pretty shocked when Aella wasn't the first one to greet me in the morning.

He chuckled and said, "Good morning, Zilla."

Because I was so embarrassed and humiliated, I promptly buried my face with my pillow.

"Good morning, Zilla!" I heard Aella's voice from behind, although I'm sure she would have been as surprised as I was by what she encountered.

They're probably looking straight at one another right now.

But after a period of silence, Aella remarked, "Greetings, Lord Lowell."

I overheard Lord Lowell say, "Good day, you may rise."

"My Lord, what brought you here? You've been pretty much gone for a few days." Aella questioned.

She tried to approach me and stood beside my bedside. I swear, I want to get out of here right now!

I mean, he's been to see me wake up here before, but even so—

"I had a few burdens to fix." He explained. "But anyway, I needed to come here to ask Zilla out."

He wants to invite me out? Where, when, and why?

"Does she seem to be awake now?" Aella inquired as she proceeded to tickle me, prompting me to wiggle just that little.

"She is. But I believe she's taken aback by my unexpected presence." Lord Lowell chuckled.

This scumbag! How can he make fun of me!

"Zilla." He called me again.

But I didn't want to move. I'm equally embarrassed and furious.

Lord Lowell added, "I'm inviting you out."

I'm not sure why, but having heard it from him ended up giving me butterflies in my stomach. My face is probably extremely red right now.

"I'll probably bring Aella with me." I said, remaining buried in the pillow.

"Whatever you wish." He said, "I'll sit and wait for you outside."

A deafening silence fell over the chamber until Aella's laughter could well be overheard.

I took off the pillow that had been hiding my face and peered at Aella.

"What are you laughing at?!" I yelled at her as I jumped out of bed.

"Take a look at you, my little dear." Aella chuckled, "Oh my Zilla, you have a lover now," she added as she pinched me, but I pushed her away.

"Lover? What are you talking about? He simply invited me out. Perhaps he ends up feeling bad about going missing when he was meant to train and teach me." I reasoned.

"Zilla, you may fool yourself as much as you like. However, anyone could tell from the way he glances at you and treats you." Aella explained.

I paused for a while to consider it. But I don't want to come to any conclusions. Perhaps he was acting courteous and respectful to me because he owes me something because I am the Supreme God. That's what it is.
