ZILLA

Again, weeks have gone with unbelievably any obvious sign of them. I'm beginning to think that that they are either meticulously trying to prepare their onslaught on us or that they have been strengthening their powers in anticipation to overpower us.

The existing plans have not changed a bit, though, as of yet. We planned a strategy that we can somehow undertake individually and collectively, while Aella and I also prepared a plan in place. I'm thinking of all the other possible alternative measures as well just in case, so I can try to make up and win this war for all of us.

"Zilla, there's someone who wants to speak to you." Aella remarked as she walked into the Lilac Fortress.

"Would be that, Lord Red? Bring him over. I have something to personally tell him." I told her as I was about to stand up.

"It's me."

The unexpected presence of Lord Lowell there next to Aella threw me off unprepared.

Aella turned her back on me and remarked, "I'm going to have to leave you two alone."

"I'm not planning to kill her or anything." Lord Lowell assured Aella.

"I won't let you hurt her again anyway." Aella stated as she walked out of the room.

I approached him gently, "Why are you still waiting there? I clearly thought you wanted to speak with me."

Given that we are currently at warfare, I don't really want things to continue uncomfortable between us for quite a while. In fact, I already made the decision to put my relationship troubles on hold and keep reminding myself not to befuddle them with my roles and responsibilities as the supreme God.

Lord Lowell glanced into my eyes and said, "I know you've got to hear this from me before and perhaps you're tired of having to hear this, but I'm still going to say it once again, I sincerely apologize."

"It's fine. Damage has already been done." I responded, lowering my gaze.

"It's not." Lord Lowell said, "I know that I hurt you that much, and that it left a scar that I just don't really know if I could cure one day."

I paused for a moment while feigning a smile.

"Don't waste any time for this matter anymore, it's really fine." I reassured him.

"But I'm still not." He answered shortly.

He suddenly reached out for my hands while I was staring at him. His tears of sadness kept flowing.

"Not a day went by that I didn't really think of you." Lord Lowell remarked.

"If you came to speak with me about this matter, then it's best if you leave. I don't really have energy for this." I told him.

He drew me into an embrace and said, "I love you, Zilla."

I was stunned and unsure of how to respond. I really don't like to discuss about this right now, to be perfectly frank. I'm not ready and able yet.

"Lord Lowell, this is just so completely off base. You are a married man." I reminded him.

Lord Lowell pulled away from the embrace and stated, "I am not married, and I will not be romantically involved if it's not you."

"But that was the subject of much controversy the past few months." I mumbled to him.

He shrugged his shoulders and grinned a little.
