ZILLA

When I regained consciousness, I came to the realization I fell asleep for far too long and had missed out on a lot. I remembered the immortals I had sheltered during that dispute, but Aella informed me that the man in mask had located them and that they are now living the good life.

I additionally discovered that that there never was any incidents of violence after that night. By sacrificing myself, I did truly lead to peace. But I never expected I'd still be living and quite well.

Nevertheless, I still have quite a lot of uncertainty. As mean, how did that God find them when such seal I generated was from my core and rendered it so that no one, as well as those with superior power than I, ever would discover them? If he was able to track down those, something seems to be way off the mark with my powers. What am I forgetting?

This would be very foolish for me to think too, but I don't genuinely think they were able to assassinate the demon Goddess. I still have the sensation that she's lurking around the corner. I have a feeling that the one we encountered that night was a pale imitation of her, making a fool of us. Maybe she actually has predicted what I'd do and spared herself. And, if my suspicions are accurate, she outwitted me there.

And although it has been a long time, I still have no idea what my father is up to. He hasn't remained by my side, continuously doing what he has been doing for generations, even when I was on the brink of death. I have no idea what that is or what that has to do with me, but I am pretty sure relatively soon, he will tell me all that Goddess Deidamia constantly told me in my dream.

Aside from those, I'm still perplexed as to where the remaining ancient divinities are. Where are they if they are unharmed and Goddess Deidamia protected them? They are supposed to be here, I personally think, to hold the realms in order and peace. But where have they moved to? Why haven't I received any flow of information from them? How can they really be of help to me, as Goddess Deidamia has claimed?

"Where are you going?" Aella asked as she blocked my way when I tried to stand up and prepared to leave.

"I need to find the man with the mask." I remarked.

If he shows up again and wishes to speak with me, he might also know everything. He may or may not respond to some questions. But I still want to give it a shot.

Aella expressed fears, "Zilla, you're still healing from what happened previously. Besides, you just woke up. Your body—"

"I have been sleeping for a hundred years, Aella." I explained. "I am perfectly alright; I can handle myself."

"But Zilla," she replied, "I'm sorry to let you know that we need to return to the Herst Keep Palace right now."

"Why?" I questioned.

"Because we need to leave this place. It isn't safe for you anymore. Let's just stay there. At least, in there, you are at peace." She answered me, but it seemed like she was lying.

"Please, Aella, I'm going insane with all the questions in my head; it needs to be cleared up." I spoke.

I overheard the chimes from the Palace of Fowlsfield as she was keen to talk out something.

I looked at Aella with a puzzled expression on my face.

"Why is the chime of Fowlsfield Palace playing? Is someone tying the knot without letting me know?" I wondered.

"Zilla." She whispered, holding my hands with nervousness.

"I must have been truly asleep for that long for any of this to take place." I joked.
