I Miss Us.

A groan escaped my mouth that made Penny turn to me with worried eyes. I turned the treadmill off and started pulling my hair out of frustration.

"M-ma'am?"

That sucker! How dare he ignore me like that?! Akala ba niya gold siya, ha!

"Penny!"

"Y-Yes, po?" Lumingon ako sa kaniya at napakagat sa aking ibabang labi. Should I tell her? Clearly the internet did not help yesterday night, so why not ask someone with experience.

"S-si Hani kasi, hindi pinansin ng lalaking lagi nitong kaaway nang mag-kita sila noong nakaraan. Ano sa tingin mo ang dahilan?" My gaze stayed on her while waiting for her response.

Nakita ko kung paano ito napakamot sa kaniyang ulo at akoy nginitian na parang may iba itong iniisip.

"Baka ayaw sa kaniya ng lalaki? Diba sabi niyo po mag-kaaway sila?" She shrugged that made my mouth dropped open. Does this mean kinamumuhian ako ni Aiden?!

"B-but he gave her the snack she wanted," umiwas ako ng tingin sa kausap ko at hinipan ang buhok kong basa sa pawis ko. This is such a pain in the ass! Ang hirap niyang basahin,

"Baka naman po nakita ni Sir Aiden na hinatid kayo ni Mr. Lucas kagabi,"

What the—

Kaagad ko itong binalingan ng tingin at nakitang palihim itong tumatawa at tinatakpan pa ang kaniyang bibig. She knew yet she made me act like a fool saying my best friend's name just to cover my deeds because my pride can't take it.

"YOU!"

"Baka nagseselos po,"

I looked at her disgusted. Nagseselos? Why? Is there something going on that I don't know Aiden? Bakit ka magseselos?

"Can you stop saying po whenever you talk to me. Mas matanda ka sakin, uy" I rolled my eyes at her, mocking the way she address me so formally. Hindi naman ako matanda or something noh, pinagmumukha niya akong senior citizen.

"Okay, Celine!"

Seriously.

A felt a vibration on my pocket that made me frown. I opened my pocket and took my phone out only to see my Nana calling me.

May kailangan na naman ata itong matandang ito sa akin.

"Yes?"

[Iha, It's been months since I saw you. Pumunta ka mamaya dito and have dinner with your Nana,] her voice is soothing soft, convincing me to go back to the mansion for a dinner.

She's right I havent seen her for months too, and I have no intention going back there. But since I have nothing to do, visiting won't hurt. Hindi ako sumagot dito at pinatay ang tawag bago lingonin si Penny na abala sa pagpunas ng kaniyang sariling pawis.

"You don't have to come to work," Giit ko. She has done Alot of things for me, tapos naman na niyang ayusin ang mga groceries ko pati ang buong apartment ko that's why she must've have seen the kitkats on my fridge, and I'm thinking of letting her take a rest from work.

"A-ano po?" There's a hint of fear in her voice that made me look back at her.

She doesn't actually think that I'm firing her, right?
