"Penny? Paki-abot nga iyang garland na yan," i pointed the silver garland on the box while fixing our christmas tree.
Christmas is near and I decided to surprise Aiden with this cute christmas tree I made with Penny. Wala kasi kaming schedule ngayon dahil nalalapit na ang year end party namin, which will happen tomorrow.
"He will surely love this!" Nakikilig na sabi ni Penny, and I agree with her. Kapag hindi man matuwa si Aiden, kakatayin ko siya ng buhay.
"May balak ka bang ibigay sa akin yan?"
"Eto na, sungit." She whispered shoving the garland on my way. Kinuha ko ito at kaagad na kinabit sa gilid.
Lumayo ako kay Penny at pinagmasdan ang pinaghirapan naming Christmas tree sa malayo. I am suddenly loving silver and white for this Christmas, kaya nagmistulang winter wonderland ang bahay namin.
It looks cute though.
"I'll call Aiden," I was about to call him when Penny stopped me.
"Ano ba Celine, you called him 20 minutes ago— he's in a meeting diba?" Na-pasampal siya sa kaniyang noo at kinuha ang cellphone ko bago ito ilagay sa bag niya.
"What's wrong with calling my husband, huh?" I glared at her. Baka mamaya may pagnanasa pala itong babaitang ito sa asawa ko. No way. Aiden is only mine.
"My Point is, you can't keep on calling him every minute lalo na't nasa meeting pa siya."
"Eh gusto ko eh." I rolled my eyes at her.
Napahinga siya nang malalim at napailing akong tiningnan.
"What do you want to eat—"
I raised my hand to stop her from talking when suddenly I felt like vomitting, so I immediately ran towards the bathroom, with Penny screaming behind me.
"CELINE!! WAG MONG SABIHIN NA BUNTIS KA AH! GANIYAN LAGI NABABASA KO SA MGA STORY!! TSAKA NAPAPANOOD SA MGA MOVIES!!"
I vomitted on the sink.
Fuck, It's been happening for a few days now and I thought It's because I've been having an intense diet for my upcoming movie. But now that I heard Penny going crazy behind me I turned towards her and gave her a look of realization.
And she seems to get whatever I was about to say and she pointed herself.
"B-bibili ako?" She stuttered.
"Ofcourse, ako ba dapat ang pumunta Penny? Do you want people to take pictures of me outside? You're my manager—"
"Tatawagan ko si Hani," pagputol nito sa akin bago kumaripas nang takbo sa sala.
I scoffed at her attitude and watched myself from the mirror. Masyado na atang marami ang nalalaman ng babaeng iyan sa akin, pati pagiging bruha ko nakuha na niya. Nakaka-proud.
"Tapos na?" I yelled at her while making my way to the kitchen.
I opened the fridge and saw it filled with chocolates that Aiden bought. I grabbed one before walking back to check Penny, but I screamed when I saw her already standing in front of me with her mouth wide open.
