Shawn is out of town again due to important businesses that he has to tend to. That's why I have to attend this party for him, and although I prefer to stay on my bed, I have no other choice but to be here.

There's a lot of people here tonight and it's suffocating me. I badly want this to end and go back home, but one of his targets are here and I have to keep an eye on him.

I grabbed one glass of tequila from the waiter on the side and made my way to the side to find Shawn's target. But as I walk around, I bumped into a tiny women wearing a black suit with a grumpy look on her face.

"My bad," I apologised, staring at her red lips and lovely brown eyes.

Dang. She's hot as hell, but judging from the way she's staring at me- this woman is not easy. She's probably one of those women that drives their own cars and manages their own companies. Those independent one's.

God, so attractive.

I noticed how she's checking me out and it made me smirk.

"Like what you see?" I teased her.

"Fuck off." She glared at me and it surprised me. No one had even told me to fuck off.

I raised a brow at her before licking my bottom lip, smirking at her response.

"Chill, missy." I chuckled, but all I got was deathly glares in return.

She's the type that will get you killed.

Something to be proud of.

-

"Shawn, just fucking find her!" I groaned in annoyance, tired of his jokes.

"I'm just thrilled to know that the great Aiden Is begging his brother to find a women, he met at a party he didn't even want to attend at first." Pangungulit nito habang nagtitipa sa kaniyang computer.

"Stai Zitto."

Since she left the party, all I could think of was the insults and curses she gave me when I let her go. And if I couldn't find that women, I'll probably lose my mind.

"I'm gonna shoot your head."

And when he did, I was fucking happy to see her again but all I got was hate from her. However, I believe in enemies to lovers,

I moved to an apartment near the race track and surprisingly, she's my neighbour.

At doon ko siya unti-unting nakilala. And her broken parts, unfolded in my eyes.

"I was fine. I-Im sure of it.." her voice broke and my heart ached.

"B-but then you came, reminding me of my dreadful past and- my broken parts broke again into millions of pieces."

She was hurting, but so am I.

I wanted to ask her to give me a chance to know her better, but from the way she pushes me, I knew she's tired of this pain that created a dark mist around her.

So just like what she wanted, I never bothered her again.

Atleast I tried.
