If Yesterday Could Disappear

Chapter 30

Rumors.

Nagising akong namamaga ang mga mata at masakit ang lalamunan. I could feel my body feeling so weak and unstable, but I insisted standing up to look for my man.

Tumingin ako sa baba at napakunot ang noo nang makitang walang Aiden ang nandoon. Instead I saw a familliar figure sitting on my couch while using his phone. A leather jacket on the table, and a suspicious key beside it.

Biglang lumingon sa gawi ko ang lalaking nasa sofa ko at binigyan ako ng matamis na ngiti. And my mouth fell wide open, seeing Shawn with his usual sinister grin sitting on my sofa with his phone on his hand.

"Good afternoon, beautiful." He winked at me,

"W-why are you here?" My voice sounds sore and I weakly made my way downstairs filled with confusion in my head.

"My Brother went to a very important meeting, kaya pinapunta niya ako dito para bantayan ka." He smiled. The events that happened yesterday came to my mind again, and I couldn't help but to bit my lip in frustration.

Fuck that psychotic moron,

I looked at Shawn for a second before grabbing my phone on the desk, then laid down on the sofa with soft grunts, wishing Aiden is here to cuddle with me.

"What do you want to eat, sister in law?" He asked, pulling his sleeves up to his upper arm.

"Do you know how to cook?"

"Is that a joke? I'm Italian." He scoffed that slightly made me chuckle.

"Oh," napatikhim ako at tinanguan na lamang ito. He then walked towards my kitchen, while I open my phone, and frowned seeing tons of missed calls from my manager, and everyone I know from the company, pati si Hani, Penny at Maren ay tinawagan ako.

What's happening?

Pinindot ko ang pangalan ni Penny at nakitang may sinend itong link na kaagad kong tiningnan. The link opened a news report and suddenly my blood starts to boil in anger.

"Your place is lonely, let me open the TV." Binuksan niya ang TV ko at pareho kaming natigilan ng makitang mukha ko ang nasa news report ngayon at pinag-uusapan.

"What the heck?" Shawn exclaimed.

May pinakitang mga litrato sa TV, noong tumabi siya sa akin sa bus, at noong hinatid niya ako pauwi. They also showed his lockscreen which is literally my face, and a few clips revealing my bad temper.

Fuck.

Kaagad akong tumayo sa sofa at tumakbo papunta sa taas at kinuha ang jacket ko tsaka ito kaagad na sinuot. I quickly put my shoes on and grabbed my sunglass on my vanity table to hide my swollen eye, before running down to leave my apartment,

"Where the heck are you going?" Shawn stopped me by grabbing my wrist with a confused look in his face.

"I really need to go to the company right now, Shawn." I begged him to let me go. His eyes softened before sighing.

"I'll come with you," Maawtoridad na sabi nito bago kunin ang kaniyang jacket at susi.

I have no choice but to go with him and let him drive me there. Besides, Aiden asked him to keep an eye on me. Bumaba kami sa parking lot at parehong sumakay sa BMW nito.
