Go Out With Me?

The next couple weeks have been interesting to say the least. Hitoshi and I have gotten along fairly well, to the point where we've been on first name basis for a while. There's only one small thing that neither of us have been willing to ask the other. That question? What in the hell is going on with our relationship. In better words: what are we?
When I say you can cut the tension with a pair of scissors I'm not joking. We act like friends whenever we hang out and go to shit but in at least my case I always get upset when nothing more than friend stuff happens. I've been wanting to kiss him again so fucking bad but there's no way in hell I'm going to be the one to do it.
Eijiro was getting sick and tired of the tension aswell. Every single time Hitoshi has come over to hang out at our dorm the second he leaves Eijiro asks me question after question about why we aren't together yet or why I haven't made my move. As much as I don't want to initiate things I'm kind of getting tired of waiting if we're being honest.
Today was Thursday meaning I had psychology with Hitoshi. Eijiro had attempted to convince me to try talking to him about everything but I refused, still holding on to hope that he'd be the one to ask me about it. During psychology we had a test then independent study so I didn't have much hope of talking to Hitoshi. As class neared it's end my guess was only coming out to be true.
Once Professor Aizawa dismissed us I packed my bag and started to head out the door. I took a glance back at Hitoshi before I left, a look of confusion or something of the sort on his face. I sighed and walked out the door, heading down the hall to go back to my dorm.
"Katsuki! Wait!" I heard someone call.
I turned around to see Hitoshi running after me. "What do you want?" I asked, slightly hopeful.
"We need to talk, I can't keep doing this." Hitoshi replied, his eyes had a pained look. I hated it.
   "Keep doing what?"
"You said the other day that you liked me and I said I liked you but now it just feels awkward again and like that conversation never happened. It's driving me mad." Hitoshi said, walking closer to me.
"I was being serious when I said I liked you." I replied, never taking my eyes off of Hitoshi.
"I was too. Can we- Do you- I-" Hitoshi started, unable to make a complete sentence. I smiled, deciding to finally give in. I closed the distance between us and placed my hands on his cheeks, pulling his lips onto mine.
"Be my boyfriend?" I asked when we parted.
Hitoshi's face turned really bright really quick, it was cute. "Y-Yeah, of course." Hitoshi replied. I laughed before bringing our lips together again, Hitoshi stepping forward and placing his hands on my hips. When we pulled away again Hitoshi's face was still completely flushed, he put a hand behind his neck and looked to the ground. "Do you maybe wanna go see a movie with me tonight? You know, as a date?"
I laughed before looking up at him with a smile, "I'd love to."
"Great! Uh, can I come pick you up from your dorm at 6?" Hitoshi asked, his eyes bright.
"Sounds perfect, I'll see you then." I replied, kissing his cheek before walking off to my dorm.
The second I got back to the dorm I fell against the front door, my hand flying over my mouth as my face went hot. "That was the cheesiest shit ever, what the fuck was that??" I cursed as I slowly slid to the ground.
"Kat? You good?" I looked over to see Eijiro sitting on the couch, looking at me worried.
"Yeah, perfect. Just internally dying from having the most embarassing moment of my life." I replied, not moving from my place on the ground.
"Oh? Tell me more." Eijiro said, walking over and sitting next to me.
"Hitoshi and I finally talked and I asked him to be my boyfriend then he asked me on a date and it was the cringiest and corniest thing I've ever done in my fucking life." I rambled, gripping onto my hair.
"Woah, calm down. Take a deep breath and slow down. So you guys talked, you asked eachother out, and you thought it was corny? Is that right?"
"Exactly, and I'm now punching myself for how stupid I probably looked." I replied, hiding my face in my hands.
"I'm sure it wasn't that bad Kat."
"It was, and now he's coming by to pick me up soon so we can go on a date."
"The date's tonight?? Why are we wasting time here then?? We have to go get you dressed!" Eijiro said, grabbing my wrist and pulling me off to my room. I tried protesting but he insisted on putting my outfit together for me.
A while after Eijiro finished there was a knock on the door, Hitoshi walking inside the dorm minutes later. "Hey, you ready to go?" Hitoshi asked me, awkwardly holding his hand out to me.
"Yeah, let's go." I replied, taking his hand and leading him out the door.
"Have fun! I expect details!" I heard Eijiro call after us.
As we walked out the door I flipped him off. Hitoshi and I then went to his car, driving down to a nearby movie theater moments later. Hitoshi said that there was a movie that he had be wanting to see and honestly, it seemed fairly interesting. He bought the tickets and took me to the concession stand to get soda, refusing any money I offered to help pay for everything.
Once we had our stuff we headed to our assigned theater, finding it almost completely empty. That honestly made me happy, I hate it when there are too many people in these things cause someone always ruins it. Hitoshi and I took seats all the way in the back of the theater that way we were far away from everyone else. A few moments after we sat down the movie started. Hitoshi put an arm around me as I rested my head on his shoulder, relaxing into Hitoshi's touch as the movie played throughout the night.
