"Katsuki, wake up." Someone said, slowly rocking me back and forth.
I slowly fluttered my eyes open, looking over and seeing Hitoshi standing next to my bed. "The hell? Why the fuck are you waking me up? It's the first Sunday I've had off since I've started working, I want to sleep. Leave me alone." I replied, gripping onto my blankets and turning onto my side.
"You can't sleep in today Kat, you have things to do."
"What the hell do you mean? I purposely didn't plan anything so that I can sleep in." I told him, my agitation slowly growing.
"Well, I made one of those appointments where you get an ultrasound done to make sure everything's going alright and to see how far along you are. Seeing as it was your only free day I thought it would be a good day to do it." Hitoshi explained.
"And what time is it at?"
"1, it's almost noon now Kat, you have to start getting ready." Hitoshi said, leaning over and kissing my temple.
I groaned but sat up, shooting him an annoyed glance, "You fucking owe me." I replied before getting out of bed, walking over to my closet and grabbing the first thing I saw.
About half way through changing I realized I hadn't felt nauseous at all since I've been awake. I didn't know how much I wanted to get my hopes up that it was finally over, it always could just be a one day thing. I took the thought out of my head and threw on my hoodie, walking out to find Hitoshi sitting on my bed. "Ready?"
"You're buying me food after this." I replied before walking out of my room.
As I was putting my shoes on Eijiro and Hitoshi walked into the living room together. Eijiro's eyes lit up when he saw me, "Make sure you get pictures, I want to see them."
I sighed, "Why are you so excited about this? Your energy's killing me."
Eijiro shrugged, "I like kids. I always babysat for my family and stuff so I'm really good at taking care of them. I'm just excited to be able to help you out." He replied, a huge grin plastered on him face.
Hitoshi laughed while I just tiredly glared at Eijiro. "Yeah, whatever. Can we just go now?" I asked, reaching for the door handle.
"Of course, we'll see you when we get back Eijiro." Hitoshi said, following me out the door. He threw his arm around me as we walked through the dorm building, pulling me close to him as I rested my head on his shoulder.
"Hitoshi?" Somebody called out from behind us.
Hitoshi and I looked back, seeing a blonde with a black streak in his hair behind us. "Denki?"
"Hey man, you haven't been back at the dorm in a while so I was worried. Who's this babe you're with?" The blonde asked, already making my blood boil.
"This is my boyfriend, Bakugo." Hitoshi replied.
"You have a boyfriend? Good for you man, you landed a hot one." The fucking creep reached his hand out to me, "I'm Kaminari, Hitoshi's roommate. It's nice to meet you."
"Y-Yeah, nice to meet you too." Though I didn't want to I shook his hand, a fake smile on my face.
"Sorry to cut this short but we have to go, I'll catch up with you later Denki." Hitoshi said, leading me back down the hall. I'm almost certain he could tell how pissed off I was. Kaminari called something else out to us but I didn't pay attention, I just wanted to get to Hitoshi's car. "Sorry about that. He's a good guy, just very dense."
"It fine, don't worry about it." I replied, already trying to forget about Kaminari.
                  -------------------------------
When Hitoshi and I got to the clinic he told me to go to the waiting area, insisting that he'd check me in and whatever else he may have to do. I didn't fight him on it, I was too exhausted. About 5 minutes later Hitoshi came and joined me in the waiting room, putting his arm around me as we waited to get called back.
A nurse finally called my name about 10 minutes later, leading Hitoshi and I through the building and to one of the check up rooms. I started looking around the room and eyeing the equipment as she told me to take a seat. When I did I started noticing how much shit was actually surrounding me, making me slightly nervous.
The nurse left and shorty after the ob-gyn came in, a smile on her face. "Hello, how are you doing?" She asked me while putting on a pair of gloves.
"Fine." I replied, doing everything I can to avoid looking at her.
"That's good to hear. I'm Hinatsuru, I'm going to be your Obstetrician-Gynecologist throughout your pregnancy. Is it right to assume you've never done this before."
   "It is."
"Let me walk you through this then, I'm essentially just going to be putting a gel onto your abdomen so that I can use this machine here to check on the baby, see how far in you are, if there are any complications, things like that. Is it ok if we get started?" She asked, taking something out of a drawer.
"Go for it." I replied. She nodded then got to work. She had me lift my hoodie up then poured the gel onto my abdomen, spreading it around with the machine after she turned it on. The second she turned the machine on a black and white image appeared on the screen, catching my attention.
After a couple minutes a black blob like thing appeared on the screen and Hinatsuru started talking again, "That's your baby there, from what I can see you're a little over 3 months in, meaning that you're starting your second trimester. I'll go over that more in your next appointment but for now everything looks fine. My only worry is that the baby does look to be slightly smaller than normal but that's nothing to worry about right now."
"I-I'm not doing anything wrong, am I?" I asked, slightly scared.
Hinatsuru smiled, "No sweetie, I highly doubt you're doing anything wrong. All babies are different, some are just smaller than others. As I said, this isn't something to worry about. At your appointment next month things could be completely different and the baby could be average size. Just relax and don't stress yourself out, alright?"
I nodded, trying to calm myself down. Hinatsuru turned her attention to Hitoshi and talked to him about a couple things, though I completely tuned that out. At some point I felt Hitoshi grab my hand and noticed that the machine was turned off and we were alone. "Where-"
"She's going to get the ultrasound pictures and set up your next appointment." Hitoshi replied.
I nodded as Hinatsuru came back into the room. She handed something to Hitoshi then turned to me, handing me a paper towel in the process. "I made your appointment for exactly one month from today at the same time. You're already starting to show so the only thing to expect until then is for that to increase. I'll see you two next month." She said, turning and leaving the room.
"You ready to go home?" Hitoshi asked while standing up.
"No, you're buying me food first remember? You dragged me out, you owe me." I replied.
Hitoshi laughed and held his hand out to me, "Of course Kat, anything you want."
