The rest of the time Hitoshi and I spent at my parents' house went pretty well. We spent a lot of time with them in the living room, playing board games, watching movies, shit like that. Not to mention the amount of times my mom pestered me about the brat.
Looking past that, time quickly passed and Hitoshi and I soon went back to his dads' house. My parents insisted that I called them at least once a week to update them on everything and I had no choice but to accept. I felt a weight off my chest when Hitoshi and I started driving off to his house, knowing that I had actually managed to survive this weekend without getting killed.
------------------------------
"Hey, you guys have plans today?" Shota asked Hitoshi and I the morning after we got back.
"Not that I know of, why?" Hitoshi questioned.
"That friend Hizashi and I mentioned wanted to know if you'd be willing to meet him today."
"I'd be up for it." I said, rubbing my eyes in an attempt to wake up.
"If Katsuki's ok with it then I am too." Hitoshi added.
"If you guys want he can either come here or I can drive you over to his house, it's your choice." Shota said.
"He can come here, I don't want to leave the house." I replied, walking off to the kitchen. I heard Hitoshi and his dad start talking a couple things over but I didn't care, I was on a mission to find food.
About an hour after this conversation and half way through a movie Hitoshi and I were watching there was a knock on the door. Shota quickly got up to answer it. He talked to whoever it was then came and stood in front of Hitoshi and I, a man with light blue hair following him close behind. "This is Shirakumo Oboro, he's the one I was talking to you about."
"It's nice to meet you both, I've heard quite a bit about you guys from Shota." Shirakumo said, a huge smile on his face.
"How do you know my dad?" Hitoshi asked.
"They don't talk about me? I'm hurt man." Shirakumo whined, turning to Shota with a small smile, "We all went to high school together, we were all best friends."
"Sadly work gets in the way of things so Hizashi and I aren't able to hang out with him as much as we'd like." Shota added, rubbing the back of his neck.
Shirakuma smiled then sat down on the couch across from Hitoshi and I, "So, Shota tells me that you're having a kid and are going to need someone to look after them?"
"Y-Yeah. We haven't really talked too much in detail about anything but my dads suggested talking to you and seeing if we'd be able to leave them with you while Katsuki and I are at school." Hitoshi explained.
"If you guys are comfortable with it I'd be more then happy to watch them for you. I work from home so I'd be able to keep a good eye on them." Shirakumo replied.
"What do you do?" I asked.
"Right after college I started my own business. It took off fairly quickly so I have a bunch of people that I pay to take care of practically everything for me. Because of that I have a lot of free time. I offered Shota and Hizashi positions but they both wanted to go into teaching, you know?"
"That's actually really impressive." I said.
Shirakumo laughed, "Right? I didn't think it would actually work out but here we are. I was fully prepared to start teaching and everything as a backup."
"How far away do you live from our college?" I asked.
"I actually only live a couple minutes from it, I'd be able to come pick them up and bring them back or you can drive over, it's your choice." Shirakuma respinded.
"I-" Hitoshi started, only to get interrupted by his excruciatingly loud dad.
"OBORO!!" He called from the stairs, practically throwing himself at Shirakumo.
Shirakumo started laughing, "It's good to see you too Hizashi."
"I've missed you, Sho always says we're busy and that we wouldn't have the time to see you." Hizashi said.
"It's because we are Hizashi. We have to take care of Eri and have shit to do for work all the time. College is a year round thing." Shota sighed.
Shirakumo just smiled, "We'll hang out soon Hizashi, don't worry."
"Ok I guess." Hizashi pouted, looking over at us, "I see you've met the kids, how's it going?"
"Yeah, do you think you'd feel comfortable with him watching the kid for you?" Shota added.
"I'm ok with it if Hitoshi is, especially since he's your guys' friend and you know him well." I said, looking over at Hitoshi.
"I'm good with it too, I think it's safe to trust him." Hitoshi followed.
Shirakumo smiled again, "I'm honored to have earned your trust, I promise that I'll take good care of them."
"You better, I'll kill you if anything happens." I said, giving Shriakumo a glare.
He put in hands up in a slightly defensive motion, his smile never fading. Hizashi ended up begging Shirakumo to stay for a while longer, Shirakumo not really having any room to object. Hitoshi and I ended up leaving Shirakumo, Hizashi, and Shota alone so that they could catch up.
When Hitoshi and I got to his room we found Eri sitting on the floor, playing with a couple of her dolls. Once she noticed we were there she turned to us with a smile, "Toshi, Katsuki! Can you guys play with me? Papa was playing princesses with me earlier but he left when he said him and dad's friend was here."
"I don't know Eri, Katsuki might want to rest for a little bit." Hitoshi replied.
Eri's smile dropped a little bit, then looked directly at me with big eyes. In all honesty I was fairly tired and I wanted to take a nap but I'd feel bad if I said no. "I don't mind playing with her for a little bit, sleep can wait." I said, making Eri's smile jump back.
Eri quickly grabbed her dolls then came over and took my hand, dragging me off into the hallway. "I can't wait to show you this new game I thought of, it's going to be so fun!"
