The pool

During the last week of school I signed up to become a lifeguard. Today was the first meeting before the day it opens. We had already done training so today was just going over schedule. I didn't realize until today that Jacob was a lifeguard this year as well. I sighed when I saw him and sat next to Chrissy. I forced her to join so that I would not be lonely. She frowned when she saw him too. Our manager started passing out the schedule Cunningham and Joshua will be from 12-2 and Sinclair and Marshall will be from 2-4. She kept on saying the rest of the schedule and Jacob was looking at me the entire time smirking. After she announced that she gave us our uniforms. I had chosen a bikini and so did Chrissy. After the meeting I went home with Chrissy because we wanted to hangout since we haven't in a while. We went over to her house and said hello to her mom. We went upstairs and she turned on her tv so we could watch the breakfast club. We were watching all different kinds of movies. It was getting kind of late so I decide to go home. Chrissy was awesome and dropped me off at my house. We did our cool handshake and I got out of the car and went inside. Hey honey leftover pizza is in the fridge. I took it out and reheated it in the microwave. I set it on a plate and took it upstairs. I closed my door and changed into Gareth's sweatpants and sweatshirt. They had still smelled like him and I snuggled into myself as if I was with Gareth. My phone started ringing it was Gareth wanting to FaceTime. I accepted. Hey babe. Hey. So what did you need. I have to have a reason to talk to MY beautiful girlfriend. I guess so. So what were you up to today. Well I went to my pool meeting. I figured out that I have to work with Jacob so this summer is going to be fun. Wow that sucks well maybe your awesome boyfriend should just come everyday so that I can talk to you. Yeah that sounds great. Wait one sec I'm taking you to the bathroom with me. Woah take me out to dinner first. Gareth joked. Oh shut up. I took my phone with me and sat it against the sink. So what are you doing. Well I have to do skincare then brush my teeth then take my contacts out. Wow that's a lot to do. Yeah it is. I started by taking my contacts out and Gareth was gagging the whole time and it was making me laugh. I did my skincare and Gareth told me to do it on him one day. Then I brushed my teeth. Which he didn't really care about. I went back to my room showed Gareth how to make my blanket cocoon and I fell asleep while talking to Gareth. I woke up at 10. I got up and went downstairs to get breakfast. Mom had made pancakes with bacon. I finished and washed my plate. I have about an 1 and a half until I have to leave so I won't upstairs and took a quick shower. I put on some waterproof mascara so it wouldn't run. I put my swimsuit underneath my shirt and shorts. I would be working the concessions before my lifeguard shift. I grabbed my keys and left for the pool. I got there checked in and went to the stand. We had a huge group of boys come in. See our uniform is our swimsuit so I'm wearing it all the time. Hey how can I help y'all. Well are you on the menu. One said very cocky. No I am not and I would appreciate if you would stop talking to me like that. Fine we want 4 bags of Doritos and 2 ice cream sandwich's. Ok I grabbed the 4 bags for them and the sandwiches. Ok that'll be 1.75 please. They handed it to me all in change. God I hate little boys. It was finally my time to go out. I went back to our loclkerooms. So you excited to go out there. With you not really. Jeez I'm sorry didn't mean to touch a nerve. He awkwardly chuckled.  Well I've just had enough of your bullshit so if you could move so that I could make it on time for my shift that would be greatly appreciated. He moved out of the way and I walked out to my post. The boys were all gawking at me drooling at the site of me. All of a sudden I feel someone coming up to me. Ugh it was the boy that was talking to me earlier. So do you want to maybe go out after your shift. Well I would love to bu- she has a boyfriend back off. Gareth came out of nowhere to come to my defense. Well I see that her bar was set pretty low. You know what sounds cool right now you being banned for life from the pool for harassing a lifeguard. No that doesn't sound very good. Ok so the way that you don't get banned is if you don't talk to me ever inappropriately ever again. Ok I'm sorry. He walked back over to his friends sadly. So how's your day been. Other than that idiot and Jacob wanting to talk to me all the time. Then yeah it's been good. Well that's great. Well my boss is gonna get mad at me if we keep talking to each other. Sorry my love I'll leave you alone now. Ok don't miss me too much. He laughed and sat down in one of the beach chairs. I kept sending winks towards him making him all flustered. My shift ended so I ended up going home. I changed out of my suit and threw it in the laundry I put on some pajamas and went to sleep.
A/n woah 2 updates in one day shocker. Anyways if you did it read the chapter before this I do a big time skip to the 2 week of summer. So I hope you enjoyed this don't forget to comment or vote. ;)
