Reunion

It's been a couple weeks since I went to the theme park with Gareth. I've been working at the pool every day. I sometimes have been hanging out with him too. Our relationship has been going very good. We barely ever fight because we usually agree with everything. I was taking a shower when mom had knocked on the door and told me that she and dad need to talk to me and my siblings about something. Ok mom I'll come down when I'm done. Ok hurry up though. I was almost done anyway so I finished washing my body and got out. I dryer my hair and straighten it. I walked back to my room and put on my clothes. I just put on a cream cropped tank top and black tracksuit pants.

I grabbed my phone and walked down the stairs. I sat down on the couch next to Lucas. So what are ya gonna tell us mom. Erica said. Well we were just invited to a huge family reunion. Really that's so cool. I chimed in. That's not the best part we rented a big r.v for the trip. Mom and dad were explaining more about the trip. They had finished there speech about it and Lucas left to go and hangout with Dustin and Erica was in her room. Hey mom can I ask you something about the trip. Yeah sure what's up. So I was wondering if maybe possibly Gareth could come along. He and I are doing really good in our relationship and I would really like him to meet some of the family. That sounds fine but you need to ask Gareth first. Ok I'll be right back then. I quickly got up from my seat on the couch and grabbed my keys off the kitchen table. I ran out to my car and quickly texted Gareth saying I was gonna be over soon. I made it to his house and I knocked on the door. Hey beautiful. Gareth greeted me. Hey hun are your parents here. Yeah they are in the living room. Ok come on. I grabbed his wrist and dragged him with me. Hi mr and Mrs Emerson I had a quick question. Shoot it at us Gareth's dad said. So me and my family are going to a family reunion and I was wondering if Gareth could come with. Yeah sure does he have a ride and how long are you staying. We are staying for 3 days and yes my parents rented a r.v for us. Ok well that sounds great Gareth's mom said. Also we are leaving tonight so let's get your bagged packed. I grabbed his wrist again and dragged him to his room. So what do I need to pack. Well you'll need to pack for about 5 days because we are going to Georgia. What I thought we were just going to a place in Indiana. Yeah no but at least we'll be together. Yeah that sound great. So back for hot weather. Ok so I'll pack my Mötley crüe tank top that you think is hot. Yeah I do. Don't and I really mean this don't bring anything that has to do with hellfire or the devil because my dads side of the family is way way Christian. Ok that's fine wanna be the best for your family. He started packing more clothes and other important things. He finished packing and it was about 6 so he said goodbye to his parents and we left for my house. We got inside and dad gave me and Gareth some pizza. After we finished Gareth helped my dad pack the van and also so my dad could talk to him about something important. I had made a quick check of my room and bathroom before I left to the r.v it was perfect it had 2 bedrooms one for mom and dad and one for us. me and Gareth sat at the table I r he back so we could have some alone time. We sat there sitting just staring at each other. Erica came up to us. Are you two lovebirds gonna move so i can draw or are you just gonna sit there. She said with her famous attitude. Yeah we'll move sorry erica. Gareth said in an apologetic tone. Good. We sat on the couch that erica was on I layed down on his lap so I could sleep.

Time skip to the reunion

We made it to my aunt Lauren's house. We were going to be staying there for the remainder of the trip. We all greeted her and we walked inside. Uncle Robert took all the bags upstairs to there rooms. I sat down and Gareth sat next to me fidgeting with his rings. My aunt and uncle sat down. So Iris who's this. My aunt said with a smirk. Oh this is my boyfriend Gareth. He's from Hawkins and we go to school together. Oh that's nice well I'm her aunt Lauren and this is her uncle Robert. Shoot Jordan and Eli are upstairs Rob could you go get them please. Yeah I'll be right back. He came back down with my favorite person ever my cousin Jordan. She consumed me into a tight hug. AHHHHHH iris I missed you! I did too but I gotta introduce someone to you. I grabbed Gareth's hand and put him in front of me. Ok Jordan this is Gareth he's my boyfriend. It's a pleasure he said sounding like he's trying to hard. Hi I'm Jordan. Hi. Wait do you guys wanna meet Eli he's literally the cutest ever. Yes please give me the baby. I said making grabby hands. Me, Jordan and Gareth tan up the stairs to go see him.  Be careful with him please Lauren called up to us. She went into his room and he was playing with some building blocks. He was about 3 years old. Hey Eli this is your cousin Iris. Hey waddle up to me and gave me a small hug. Hi. He said in a small voice. He walked up to Gareth and made grabby hands up to him. Gareth was confused at first but caught on and picked the little boy up. He sat him on his hip and Eli started playing with his rings on Gareth's fingers. I couldn't help but aww with Jordan. I think he likes me. Hey kids come downstairs it's time to eat. I'm just gonna take him down since he's kinda attached to me. We walked down the stairs. Lauren started laughing I see that Eli likes you. She came up to Gareth and took Eli from him. He likes my rings he chuckled. We all sat down and ate some lasagna that Lauren had made. We finished eating and we went back to our rooms to go to sleep. Jordan was awesome and slept downstairs. Me and Gareth got into the air mattress that was put up and we fell asleep cuddling next to each other.
