Reunion p2

Today was the actual day of the reunion and I was stoked. I was already up at about 8:30 which is a not common occurrence. I could smell the homemade bacon and grits from downstairs. Before I actually got up I quietly nudged Gareth on his shoulder. Hi princess. He said in the hottest morning voice ever.
First of your hot second of all we need to get up or else we won't have any bacon or grits. Ok well let's go because I've never tried grits. WHAT! Come with me. I got up and dragged Gareth up and downstairs.
Lauren get this boy some grits he's never ever had them in his life! Omg here you go Gareth savor them they are the best. Gareth took the plate that my aunt had given him and took a bite. Wow these are delicious. He said with some food in his mouth.
Yeah it's amazing. We finished eating and I left Gareth alone with my family so I could take a shower. I finished taking a shower and went into Jordan's room so I could change. I decided to wear a button up white shirt with most of the buttons undone and a pair of crème colored jean shorts with a fancy gold bracelet.

I walked down the stairs quietly and I saw Gareth sitting down on the floor playing with Eli.
I walked behind him and I sat down next to him. Hey. Hey princess. Eli started playing with Gareth's rings again. Gareth had already taken a shower so he was ready.
He was wearing a white button up shirt but only 2 were unbuttoned. And a pair of blue jeans. Lauren came down from upstairs. Ok is everyone ready if so get into the r.v we gotta go now. We all got into the van and went a couple miles away from Lauren's to my grandma Irene's. We got there and there were already so many cars from family members and friends.
We got out and was immediately met by my grandma. Oh it's been so long hello Iris your so big. Yeah it's been a long time. She took me in for a tight hug. Oh and is this Lucas's friend.
No grandma this is Gareth my boyfriend. Oh well that is wonderful. Here you guys come on this way to the back yard. Gareth grabbed my hand because he was nervous to see everyone. We went out back and everyone started saying hi to me and to the rest of my family everybody I introduced Gareth to loved him. We sat down and had some lunch consisting of brisket sandwiches and potato salad and chips and all the things you could possibly think of.
I would say Gareth was definitely the main attention since everyone wanted to know about him. It was different because we are the only family not in Georgia so nobody knew who he was. A couple hours later my grandma came up to me. Hey Iris baby do you think you and Gareth could go and hangout with the little kids because they are getting bored and we don't want them inside. Ok yeah we're good with kids.
Ok they are all in the front yard make sure they don't go in the road. Me and Gareth got up and walked towards the front yard. There were so many little kids I counted and there were at least 26. I whistled to get there attention. Hey my name is Iris this is Gareth we were told to keep and eye on you so you guys can't go to the road unless we told you, you can. Second let's not go to the backyard unless of your going to your parents ok does that sound good. Yeah .
They all said in unison. Some of the kids started playing tag or blind hide and seek. I started playing with the kids who were playing tag. I was playing for a while and making sure to check on the other kids there were still 25. I knew we were doing good. That's when I realized there were 26.

Shit shit shit shit shit shit. I lost one. I was looking around and also noticed that Gareth was gone too. I was freaking out looking everywhere. I looked by the side of the house.
I saw literally the cutest sight ever to be seen. Gareth was sitting on the ground with some little girls who seemed to be at-least 4 or 5. He was sitting there picking flowers and weeds and making them into little flower crowns and bracelets. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket a took some cute photos. It was getting late and could see that the kids were getting tired.
A couple minutes later some of the moms came back to pick up there children and leave. Some of them even gave me money to split with Gareth. All of the kids were gone so me and Gareth went back to the yard. I sat down next to mom and she started talking to me and Gareth. So how was it.
It was good the kids were amazing. Speaking of us Gareth what were you doing I didn't see you at all. Oh I was playing with some of the boys like they wanted to play with a ball. That sounds like fun but can I show you a picture. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and showed him playing with the little girls.
Aww you are so adorable said some of the lady's that were around us. Yeah he sure is I said. I leaned my head on his shoulder and he was drawing circles on my thighs with his finger. We were sitting near a campfire and mom was talking about school and everything about Hawkins. It was about 11 so we all said goodbye to the remaining people and my grandma.
My mom had gotten a lot of food from my grandma and so did my aunt. We all walked back to the r.v and went back to Lauren's. Once we got there me and Gareth changed into more comfortable clothes and we fell asleep cuddling up to each other and talking about the little girls.
