RAPUNZEL:

Seeing what is coming for us, I stop what I am doing and use everything within me to extend my healing spell, kneeling with a shield around me as I let my light cast over the battlefield, keeping soldiers and dragons from dying as these monsters overcome us like a void black flood. I am using all of the celestial strength that is given to me but I can't hold this forever.

JACK:

"Protect Rapunzel!" I shout in alarm when I see what she's doing. Merida runs over there as Astrid lands on her dragon to begin blasting enemies with its bright magnesium breath and the twins are there smacking and taunting as they do best.

My eyes scatter around the battlefield as I see men get thrown off their dragons and have to recover from broken bones when that happens, some of the falls too bad for even Punz to save. These things are leaping from the ground and onto our dragons that they are lucky enough to have the chance to fight them off while they are invulnerable but this can't last us much longer and we are definitely losing this fight. I can see more of the enemy than our own men at this point...

But just when I'm about to lose hope I hear a loud and distant horn ring over the waves of the Norwegian Sea...

I look to our west as my eyes gaze upon a horde of dragons and riders, my expression puzzled until I realize what colors they are flying under.

Blackship Isles.

My eyes widen in complete shock but a surprised smile also makes its way onto my lips.

Their heroic shouting can be heard all the way out here and now I am no longer the only one looking in their direction.

Even the Fearlings get distracted when their puppet master does, turning back into his usual form with the decrepit arm of black mist that replaced the one Hiccup sliced off.

I watch their army, on their own dragons, armored with the style of their tribe; dragon bone and black steel, as they approach and sweep through the Fearlings, cutting them down with dragon bone weapons and the breaths of their beasts.

My eyes then go upwards as they fly over my head and weave through the battlefield like floodwaters. The chief lands in front of me and seeing the astonishment on my face, I don't have to say anything before he decides to put an end to my obvious confusion. "The one called Rapunzel came to us a few nights ago and healed all my men," he says. "The Night Fury she rode recruited us dragons and when your army had a heading she sent us word of it..."

There is visible awe in my expression as well as admiration. I'm touched to my core. Rapunzel. That woman continues to surprise me every day with how resourceful, intelligent, compassionate, and selfless she can be. I am beginning to think there is no limit. She is truly the greatest treasure and I love her so much.
