MERIDA:
We wave goodbye to the others and when they're out of sight, I look at Rapunzel to my left. "Now let's get to work!" I grab her hand and we run excitedly to where everyone is slaving away on the traps near the center of town.
I changed into something more comfortable for manual labor than my armor is. Basically just a long tunic and trousers with work boots. I run over to their general Ivar, who is standing above the parchments laid out on the grass surrounded by baskets and nets. "We have to get more than eight hundred pounds of fish in order to have enough to lure these beasts," he says with a hand at his beard. He's a younger, fitter Viking. Probably late twenties in age, with huge shoulders.
"Have all the fishermen been summoned?" I ask him.
"Aye. But we can't begin until the traps are set up. Otherwise they'd be here before we are ready for 'em."
I take a look at the map of Berk lying there. "Do all you can to prepare for the fishing in the meantime. We'll probably have boats sail out all around the island to catch as many as possible." Okay that was obvious but, whatever. "What can we do to help?"

JACK:
I travel with Fishlegs to Bleakrock over to the west. I'm starting there, then making my way directly to each clan in a line around Berk's north side as if I'm drawing a rainbow on the map that's... a little crooked—Okay I was never good at geometry.
geology...
geography...? Yes. geography. Ahem...
I fly at his side as the wind makes a loud sound against our ears, hair plastered back from our faces and the north air would make me cold if I was human.
Bleakrock begins as a series of sharp rocks that come up from the water and they get larger the closer we get to the island. The rocks are black and jagged, forming sculptures of dark stone that surround the island. It's not a stronghold like Berk, but they've mastered the art of stacking stones for their structures. They must get most of their sustenance from fishing. I don't see much vegetation.
The next thing I notice are the mines. The island is crowded beyond belief with mines. I'm guessing this place is rich with ore and they probably mine, smelt, and trade it with the other islands for agricultural goods or perhaps clothing or something else.
When we get close enough to see their flags (one for Berk and the other for their clan underneath it), we see people begin to point in our direction and gather around to see not just who is coming their way... but who is flying their way.
They are readying their weapons with crossbows pointed at us but I fly close enough to talk and I ride my staff like a broomstick on Harry Potter to raise my hands. "We come in peace!" I say to the soldiers that crowd on the grey stone walls of the outer borders that surround the town inside.
