REVELATION: THE BIG FOUR

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO: THE BLACK DEATH

I glare at Pitch but this monster is taking my attention. So I look at my friends. "Hiccup and Merida, take your dragons, get the others, and fight that thing. Rapunzel and I will take care of this demon filled husk. If we can finish this with him, we can end all of it. But we can't let our friends get killed by that monster in the process. Hurry!"

"Aye," Merida agrees and whistles for her dragon, Hiccup putting his helmet back on and leaping off the cliff onto Toothless.

Rapunzel and I turn to face Pitch again, weapons ready and souls even more so.

"Alright you lanky bastard. Why don't you show us what you got, huh?" I threaten him with Rapunzel shining her palm at my side.

He clenches his teeth as his anger boils over the top of the pot and he cries out to charge at us with his scythe forming in his hand.

She and I do the same as we run forward with her sword drawn back and my staff ready to strike. I sling my weapon up to create an ice barrier as I leap into the air, flying over his swipe of his weapon that destroys the ice wall into shards of white that gradually turn black like the rest of it, as I land behind him, Rapunzel blocking anything that could have harmed her with her conjured shield. But I throw ice spikes towards his head and he's forced to turn and block me with a shield of darkness before he sends back his own black spikes that I have leapt out of the way from.

Rapunzel's hair grabs his arm and yanks him down off his feet and onto his back. But he acts fast and multiple Fearling arms come from his form to grab onto her hair and yank her forward as he conjures a knife to—

I tackle him to the ground as the knife disappears and Rapunzel pulls her hair back, using her sword to run up and—

Pitch throws me off him, my body hitting hers as we both fall back onto the stone in a tangled mess.

Pitch is about to end us before Rapunzel shoots her light to blind him for a moment, making him miss as we both get up and retrieve our weapons once more.

HICCUP:

I take Toothless down as we observe this six eyed deathly beast, no visible weaknesses coming to mind yet. I wish this was a species I had already studied.

"We're gonna need some help," I tell myself before banking and heading over to where I can see the twins throwing flammable gas into a crowd of Fearlings and igniting it after.

I come up to the side of Barf and Belch, telling Ruff and Tuff, "Hey! I need you two to distract that dragon's fire away from our men!" I shout over the sound of wind and war. "You're fast and slippery. If there is a shot limit to the dragon, that's great but even if there isn't, we will at least be getting the thing to fire into the air! Find Snotlout and tell him the same thing! Got it?!"

"Wait, why us?!" Tuffnut complains.

"Now!" I add before leaving them, shouting at the others to get back away from the enormous beast that is currently targeting the riders that are flying around it trying to blast it with fire and take it down.
