The next day we leave Pascal with Hazel, knowing it would be safer for him to stay because we're not sure what dangers we'd face and what temperatures or food shortage we would have to deal with. Telling them we'd be back later, my sister wished me well, saying she'd keep us both in her prayers as we go on to face the unknown.

The journey is long but luckily we find places to stop and rest/eat every now and then, whether it be some remote island in the North Sea, or some place on the coast of Sweden or Scotland

The journey is long but luckily we find places to stop and rest/eat every now and then, whether it be some remote island in the North Sea, or some place on the coast of Sweden or Scotland. But we can't complain. The trip is much shorter than it would have been if we couldn't fly, and sometimes people saw us above and pointed, thinking we were a bird carrying their prey or something of that nature. Luckily we were too high up for them to see that it was two people.

But the further we go, the colder it gets. And there's not much to see when flying over the endless water. Punz was excited to see the ocean but after a while I am sure she's bored of it... that is until we spot dolphins, whales, or the occasional ship riding the waves.

And she doesn't seem to be bothered by the cold. Of course I'm not, either. But I keep a bit closer to the surface when no one can see us, so that she can breathe easier.

It's a whole day of travel that goes by and when we finally see the formations of rock peeking from the waters it's nearly sunset. And we know we've arrived.
