--Chapter 6 ~Candor or Dauntless --
Tobias' Pov
It is now time to head over to the party. I walk over to my bedroom and change into normal clothes.
Yes, I am aware of the rules about removing an article of clothing if you chicken out.
I'm no pansycake, though, so I don't have to worry.
Once I'm finished getting dressed I head out of my apartment, closing the door behind me. I head to Zeke's apartment which is only seven doors down from mine. When I knock on the door Shauna answers, letting me in.
She, Zeke, Uri, and Mar are the only people who have arrived so far. Lynn, Chris, and Tris still haven't come.
"Lauren is bringing someone else. She told me earlier." Shauna says as she opens the door.
"Oh, who?" Zeke asks. Apparently Shauna hasn't told him yet, either.
"Her new boyfrieeend!" Shauna says, exaggerating the word 'boyfriend.'
"It's about time she got over him and moved along." Mar says, gesturing to me.
"Who is it?" I ask.
"I don't know, she left that part out." Shauna says.
We all start to form a circle in the middle of the living room. A few minutes later Tris and Chris walk in.
Tris has a strapless, black dress on that reached just above her knees. She is also wearing a leather jacket.
She has some light makeup on and her hair is tied up in the back.
"Wow, you look...." I start.
"Thank you." she interrupts, probably assuming I was going to say something along the lines ofbeautiful or pretty.
She was right, that was what I was planning on saying. She looks drop-dead gorgeous.
Tris walks over and sits down in-between Christina and I.
Tris' Pov
When I walk into Zeke's apartment everyone starts staring at me.
Well, damn. This is awkward.
"Wow, you look......" Tobias starts, staring at me wide-eyed.
"Thank you." I cut him off.
I walk over the the center of the living room and plop down next to Tobias, Christina sitting on the other side of me.
Finally Will walks in. He sits down next to Christina.
"Who all are we still waiting for?" I ask Tobias.
"Lynn, Lauren, and Lauren's new boyfriend." he answers.
"I didn't know Lauren has a boyfriend."
"Neither did I until about ten minutes ago."
--Time Lapse--
knock, knock, knock
Someone is here; either Lynn or Lauren.
We are all sitting anxiously waiting to see who Lauren is seeing.
"I'll get it." Shauna says, standing up and walking over to the door.
She opens the door and everybody's jaw drops.
Next to Lauren stands.....
