- Chapter 20~ New Baby-
Tobias' Pov
"Tobias," I hear Tris shout. "Wake up!"
I jerk out of bed instinctively, worried that something's wrong. I sit up and look across the room. Tris is getting dressed at lightning speed and scrambling around the apartment frantically trying to get ready for something.
"What's wrong?" I ask, rubbing my eyes and trying to adjust from being waken up at.....What time is it anyway? I haven't even checked.
I turn over and read the clock on the bedside table.
4:25 AM
Well Shit! Apparently I'm getting up at the crack of down for God knows what.
"Lynn." Tris answers, out of breath from running around.
"What happened to Lynn?" I ask. I pull myself out of bed and walk over to Tris, starting to get dressed. I'm not sure what's going on, but it must be important if Tris is freaking out. She usually stays calm for most things and doesn't overreact.
"She's in labor!" Tris yells.
Lynn's in labor already? The baby isn't due for another week! I guess a week isn't that early, but I still wasn't expecting the baby to come for a while.
"Oh God!"
I finish getting ready and then head to the living room, following Tris out of the apartment and to the hospital.

Tris' Pov
"What's going on?" I ask Marlene as Tobias and I arrived at the hospital.
Mar is sitting in the waiting room, scrolling through her phone while Uriah is curled up in a ball on the chair next to her, sleeping.
"They're apparently having her push now." Mar answers. Tobias and I take a seat next to Mar.
"Geez, already?" I ask, surprised. As far as I'm concerned, she only went into labor a few hours ago.
"Yeah," Mar answers. "Shauna and Zeke are going to be pissed that they're not here."
It's only the day after Shauna and Zeke's wedding and they're currently on their honeymoon. I don't think Shauna wanted to miss the birth of her niece.
I see Marlene reach onto a small table beside her and pick up a cup of coffee, bringing it to her mouth and taking a sip.
"There's coffee?" I ask. I'm still extremely tired considering it's barley what most people would consider as morning.
"Yeah, in the cafeteria. There's also bagels, doughnuts, muffins. Those sorts of things."
Tobias and I tell Mar that we'll be right back and head down to the cafeteria. When we get there we both grab some coffee and a pastry. After paying for them with Dauntless credits, we head back upstairs to the waiting room.
We sit back down on the seats and wait for Lynn.
"Ahhh," Uriah yells, springing up from his chair. "Where the hell am I? What's going on? Why am I in this strange, sterile room? Where are Caity and Kayla? Have they died?"
"Calm down," Marlene says, rolling her eyes. "We're waiting for Lynn to have the baby, remember? Caity and Kayla are at home sleeping. You just accidently feel asleep, you're fine."
"Oh." he says, calming down.
Uriah rubs his eyes and looks around, examining his surroundings.
"Oh, hey Tris and Cuatro." he says.
