Chapter Ten

I just wanted to say thank you guys for all the engagement on my story. I've tried for years on different accounts to get a story that would blow up. So thanks so much for making my dream come true. I  mean, yesterday we had just hit 700 reads and second place for #Jacobday. Now were. about to bein first and at 1,000. reads which would be a milestone. So thank you!

Jacob's POV,

We got out of the car and walked into the house. It was now almost lunch time so everyone was out doing things. I sat down on a beanbag and went on my phone making a tiktok here and there. I looked over and saw Y/n taking a picture of me. I laughed and rolled my eyes. I then got a notification on my phone that she posted on Instagram. So I clicked on the post.

Y/n's post,

I put my phone down and smiled rolling my eyes. She smiled back at me and looked back down at her phone.

Y/n's POV,

As I sat there on my phone I got a from my sister. I answered it with Jacob in the background. (We're on FaceTime.)

Y/n's sister: Hey where's your boyfriend?

Y/n: He's over there, I moved the camera to show him on his phone.

Y/n's sister: Are you gonna go on a date with him today?

I started blushing and my sister saw.

Y/n's sister: Awwww you are! How cute!

I rolled my eyes and hung up.

Later,

I was laying down when Tabitha and Mia pulled me upstairs and into my room. They sat me down on a bench and started grabbing random pieces of clothes.

Y/n: Um what's happening?

Tabitha: We're picking out your outfit.

I nodded my head as Mia and Tabitha found what they wanted to wear. They pushed me into the closet and locked the door so I could get ready. I laughed a little from being so excited. I got changed and walked out of the room. They gasped.

Y/n: What, I said afraid I looked bad?

Mia: Y/n, you looking f*cking amazing!

Y/n: Hm thank you, I laughed.

Mia pulled me into a chair and started doing my makeup while Tabitha did my hair. I sat there on my phone as Tabitha and Mia talked to each other. I was scrolling on Instagram when I saw a tweet notification pop up on my phone. I clicked on the tweet and saw it was from Hollywood fix.

The tweet,

Are @Jacobday and @Y/nPetrou dating? We know they were best friends before for years, and we have heard their story on Instagram live before; when Y/n shared the story of her ex. They've been seen week in and week out in down town la. We wonder!

I rolled my eyes and Tabitha saw through the mirror.

Tabitha: What's wrong?

Y/n: Hollywood fix just posted a tweet saying anti quote, "Are @Jacobday and @Y/nPetrou dating? We know they were best friends before for years, and we have heard their story on Instagram live before; when Y/n shared the story of her ex. They've been seen week in and week out in down town la. We wonder!" Like honestly t- you know what never mind, i crossed my legs.

Mia: No say it getting your feelings out and not keeping them inside had helped you a lot. I mean you talk to Jacob about it and look at you now. So much better then how you were these past few months.

Y/n: It's just like so annoying, because it makes me think if I finally get to be happy with the person I love. It makes me think that I will never have my dream that I'll never get what I want, that I'll never get what I crave. That I'll never get what I want, and what I want is Jacob.

I looked through the mirror and saw Mia nodding and Tabitha in shock.

Tabitha: Have you been holding this type of stuff in for weeks?

Y/n: Yeah some stuff like t-

I got cut off by Jacob calling me.

Jacob: Hey are you ready to go?

I looked up through the mirror, and gave Mia a look of am I good. She nodded her head and smiled.

Y/n: Yeah I'm ready. I'll be down in a sec, I said getting up.

Tabitha handed me my bag and Mia did a final touch up of my makeup.

Mia: Have fun!

Tabitha: Use perfection, she laughed so Mia as I looked back giving her a weird put look.

I walked down the stairs and saw Jacob. He looked at me. We locked eyes and in that second my heart skipped a beat. The smile he had on his face was contagious. It instantly made me smile back at him.

I walked down to him as he grabbed my hands and looked into my eyes.

Jacob: Wow you look beautiful.

Y/n: Thank you. I really didn't feel like dressing up that much. I hope it's ok.

Jacob: Are you kidding? We're not going on some basic date at a restaurant. You can wear what ever you want. I mean I would prefer nothing, he laughed.

I playfully punched him in the arm acting like it was so funny, but on the inside I was screaming wanting to break out of my skin and make out with his face. The thing is I still don't know if we're ready for that yet.

Jacob finally stopped laughing and we went out to the car. He opened the door for me and I got in. He got in on the other side and started the car. We weren't in Jacob's car though. We were in Thomas's off roading truck. He started playing music as I looked out the window. My mind was spiraling thinking about all the questions I have to ask Jacob, and if somethings gonna happen tonight. I snapped out of my thoughts when yet again I felt Jacob's hand on mine. I looked up and saw Jacob was driving trying to play it cool, but I could tell he was so nervous. The car stopped as I looked at him. I looked out of the window and saw that we at a mountain.

Y/n: Where are we?

Jacob: You'll see when we get there.

I got so nervous but so excited at the same time as we started to walk up the hill.
