Chapter Thirty eight

I woke up the next day in the movie room. I saw Jacob was still asleep under me. That's when I remembered. I GET MY STITCHES OUT TODAY! I was about to get up and try to sneak away from sleeping Jacob but that's when I felt his hand on my thigh. He moved his head on my shoulder that was half way up in the air. I grabbed his head with my hand as I slipped away from him. That's when I felt him grab my wrist.

Jacob: Nooooo, he dragged out the o. Stay with me and rub my back. Tell me you love me, it makes me so happy, he pulled me down and put his head on my chest.

Y/n: Jacob, I have to go get ready for the doctors.

Jacob: What, why, he mumbled?

Y/n: Because I get my stitches out today. So can you let me go, I looked down at him smiling?

Jacob: Yes, he let go of me as I got up.

He plopped his hand back down on the seat and tucked his face in the blanket.

Jacob: Will you come back to me when your done, he mumbled in a tired voice?

Y/n: Hmp, yes I will.

Jacob: Love you, he moved his face out of the blanket.

Y/n: I love you too.

I walked down the hallway and to the stairs. That's when I was stopped by a shirtless tired Vinnie, rubbing his eyes.

Vinnie: Hey, he said in a tired a little scared voice.

He looked like he had been crying all night. I feel so bad. I left him to be like this, but I still don't know if I can trust him or not. I still don't know if he was trying to get Jacob hurt. I wanna know!

Y/n: Hey, can we talk?

Vinnie: Are you gonna yell at me again, he out his hands on his hips?

I could tell he was nervous.

Y/n: No. I just wanna talk.

Vinnie: Ok, he put his hand in his hair.

Y/n: Come on, I tilted my head signaling him to follow me.

I walked out the front door and sat down on the steps. I waited for Vinnie to sit down as I looked at the view. I saw him sat down out of the corner of my eye. That's when I took a deep breath and started to speak.

Y/n: I'm not gonna yell at you. I just wanna know what happened that night, and why you blocked me from going by him.

Vinnie: I did it because I love you, Y/n. Your my best friend. And I don't love you like that. I love you as my best friend. Your the best friend I've ever had in my life. I heard Jacob, Ace, Kristian, Jackson, and Bryce talking about how he randomly came here.

Y/n: How'd you hear that, I said confused and shocked.

Vinnie: I was walking past the balcony that's in front of the house by my room. That's when I saw them looking out and Jacob freak out about it.

Y/n: What happened after that?

Vinnie: Jacob said he was gonna try and make him leave and if he didn't he-

I cut him off.

Y/n: Was gonna kick his ass.

Vinnie: Yeah... so when I heard what was going down I didn't want you to go in there and see he was here in the first place. I mean I remember that whole week when I first came here. You took me out to eat the day I got here. And as I sat there I-

I cut him off again.

Y/n: You asked me what happened and I told you- he cut me off.

Vinnie: Everything. I would never wanna hurt you, y/n. Your my best friend. Even though we're not that close anymore and you can barley tell, I'm still your best friend. I want what's best for you. That's why I was so upset when you thought I wanted to get either of you guys hurt, he looked into my eyes.
