Chapter Twenty four

My hands were still shaking when we walked through the door. It was dark and very crowded. The music was blasting so loud I couldn't hear anything. I looked around and Ace, Tabitha, Jackson, Mia, Thomas, Kristian, Jake, Eddie, and everyone else were gone. That's when I saw Kristian come up and pull Jacob's arm. He was pulled out of my hands and looked at me concerned as he was pulled away.

I decided that even though I was frozen in fear I would go loosen up. I mean so much pressure all the time freaks me out. It becomes to much so why not go get a drink. I walked over to a cooler in the back by the pool and got a white claw out of it. I sat down not talking to anyone. Until Griffin Jonson came over to me. Aka the guy that cheated on Dixie. This could only be bad. ( Sorry if you like Griffin! Personally not a fan!)

Griffin: Hi, Y/n been a while since I've seen you.

Y/n: Yeah, that was for a reason, Griffin, I sipped my white claw.

Griffin: Still feisty I see, he leaned on the chair he was on next to me.

Y/n: Listen Griffin I'm w-

Griffin: With Jacob, I know.

Y/n: So why are you talking to me?

Griffin: I can't help it!

Y/n: Oh my god, Griffin! We're just friends! When Sway became a thing and you guys became friends with Hype is when we met. Don't try and make it like we've been friends forever! You cheated on Dixie! I could never think of you in a good way.

Griffin: You don't have to I like it that way, he put his hand on my leg.

Y/n: Get your hand off my f*cking leg right the hell now Griffin!

He wasn't listening to me. I stood up and walked away while whispering,

Y/n: Stay the bell away from me!

I walked back inside and sat on the couch to see Chase.

Y/n: Chase!

Chase: Y/n, he got up.

He came over and hugged me.

Chase: I heard you and Jacob are dating! Who's that's going?

I wanted to tell Chase everything that's going on and everything that happened, but I can't. It's just not something I can do. It's not something Thomas would want me to tell people.

Y/n: Its been good, I lied.

Chase: That's good, so how's the house?

Y/n: Its good actually. We've had a few people come in and out, but it's actually the coolest it's been since-

Chase: Since 2019?

He smiled and looked down giggling.

Chase: Yeah, I miss it too.

Y/n: I used to miss it, but I really can't miss it that much now.

Chase: Happier now huh?

Y/n: Yeah, a lot happier actually. I think finally being able to open up and cope with what happened with Aj mall made me able to get over it faster.

Chase: Really? Because I think it was Jacob.

Y/n: Really?

Chase: Yeah, I mean I've seen how happy you've been since you guys started dating. It may not be out to the public but the inner circle knows. I think he pulled you out of a dark spot and brought you into the lights, he took a sip of whatever was in his red solo cup. I think everyone's here from the house in 2019 actually!
