General pov; this one shot is based off of season 2 episode 12 where Erin is working for the fbi and they want to send  a group to La Paz For six months and Erin is told to go with the group

Erin's pov a few months ago I got a job offer to join the FBI task force I wasn't sure I should take the job but after talking it over with jay and getting hank blessing i took it, funny thing is the first case I work was with intelligence unit, once they help us out I went over to Jays place and we We need to get in on it started to fuck up because we no longer are under hanks rules of no in-house Romance we end up spending all night long planes scrabble it felt really nice to find me let our feelings come out but the next few days I've learned that the FBI needed to take a team that included me to La Paz Bolivia for six months so I packed up some things and went with them when I told Jay I was leaving he was sad but understood why I had to leave we stayed in contact while I was out of the country with each other. Everything was going great in La Paz until I started feeling very tired and nauseous all the time and then I haven't had my period in a while so I went and grabbed a couple pregnancy test and took him and it was positive I was pregnant, I was shocked at first but then i was happy The only bad part is I was so far away from Jay which means I had a tone and I was playing with the phone but each time I talked I couldn't do it So now it's time for me to head back to Chicago after a 14 hour flight I mean back in Chicago so I called a Cab

CD= where to miss
E= the 21st district police station
CD= you got it ( starts driving) are you visiting someone there
E= Kind of but I used to work there about seven months ago
CD= OK cool ( they arrive) we are here
E= all right here is your tip and thank you
CD= wow why thank you
E= ( inside) wow this place hasn't changed much
P= no freaking way Erin Lindsay what in the world are you doing here
E= well I just got back from La Paz
P= and your first stop was here
E= of course I missed you guys I wanted to come say hi right away
P= well we miss you more
E= aww thanks so is everyone upstairs or are they out
P= no they are upstairs but since it's been a while since you were here last I have to walk you upstairs myself
E= all right then let's go
P= ( upstairs ) hey my lovely people
AR= hey platt I hope we don't have another case
P= no you guys are still good doing your paperwork right now
KA= oh man that sucks
P= but I do how have a surprise for you all today
AR= you did please tell me you bought us all food
P= ha ha you so funny Adam you should know me right now that I wouldn't even bring you guys food if it was my last thing on Earth to do
E= hey guys I know I'm not food but I hope it's OK I'm back Adam
KA= oh my God Lindsay
AD= i'm so happy to see you Erin
KB= i'm beyond happy to see you
AO= hey Kid
E= I'm so happy to see everyone to but where is Hank and Jay at.
AO= they are in the garage going over some things
E= all right
KA= so Erin how was La Paz
E= it was hot all the time
KB= I bet you didn't miss Chicago
E= I kind of did miss Chicago especially you guys
AR= oh how sweet Erin
E= maybe not you as much as everyone else Adam

HV= hey what is all the noise about up here ( see Erin )

J= wow you're back
HV= hey kiddo you're back ( hugs)

J= I didn't think you would come straight here from the airport I thought you would want to go home first and sleep for a little bit
AD= how long was your flight
E= it was about 13 to 14 hours
KB= wow  that's long
HV= so how was your work over there
E= it wasn't that bad we cut who we needed to get and then we got home
AO= well that's good to hear
HV= so are you going back to FBI
E= yeah we have to go back  after to brief  the mission tomorrow morning but today we just get to relax
HV= well that's good so how about you come over for dinner tonight so we can catch up
E= yeah that was totally fine how does 6 o'clock sound
HV= that works for me

I stay at the district for about two hours later to catch up with everyone then I left them alone to haven't finished up the work I'll go home and get settled back into my place about 6 o'clock I head over to Hank's house
