General pov: this episode is based off of season five episode seven We're Jake is in the cover to find a kid that has been kidnapped by also bonding with a fellow ranger they finally find where the kid was in going to save him but then things come back

Jays pov: About a week ago I was just out driving on when I came across a scene where someone stormed into a big building decided to kidnap a little kid and also start shooting at people so I did my police duties and tried to catch them but I was too late , when we start investigating we soon found out the dude was an ex Ranger just like me so he decided to send me undercover and see if I can help find the missing little boy I've been on the cupboard for a few days we finally found where the little boy was being held so we went inside a big warehouse and everything turned madness with gun fire going everywhere but when Luis got shot he got shot in the head and died instantly and then my team started to come in to help me but then something happened by shot Haley in the shoulder

HU= oh my God Jay you just shot me
J= wait what
AR= haley are you OK ( she doesn't answer in drops to the ground) call Haley stay awake Kim call the ambulance
KB= copy that 5021 Eddie we need an ambulance to our location an officer was shot
DIS= copy that 5021 Eddie
HV= hey guys what the hell is going on
KA= sarge we got a situation you need to come see us now
HV= me and Alvin will be right there
AO= ( with the others ) so what happened guys
AD= So Jay accidentally shot Haley in the shoulder
HV= went you got to be kidding me
KA= I wish I was Sarge
HV= dispatch where is my ambulance
DIS= two minutes out sarge
HV= how is she doing Adam
AR= she is hanging in there but she's losing blood fast
KB= The ambulance is here

AO= maybe your brother will be working tonight and he can be your doctor

Well the ambulance took Kaylee Alvin drove me to the hospital while I was thinking about what just happened we live right behind the ambulance

ML= what do we have
PL= we have a detective Haley upton 30 years old female a gunshot to our left lower shoulder

ML= hey alvin hey Jay what's up
AO= dr. halstead available
ML= he sure is hey will you git a visitor

J= um can we go to exam room and talk

AO= so Jo need you to draw his blood and check him out.
WH= OK I can do that but May I ask why I need to
J= because well I shot my partner on accident

WH= oh OK sit down and I'll get things ready to draw your blood

Over the next 10 minutes will draws my blood and checks me over then we wait on the results of the blood test

AO= so how are you doing kid

AO= Believe me Jay you aren't the first person that shot your partner on accident or not
J= I know but I still feel bad

Alvin leaves jay alone and checks in with everybody else

AO= hey guys any updates on Haley
KA= she is still in surgery
HV= how is Jay doing
AO= he is beating himself up pretty bad
KB= I don't blame him
HV= has anyone noticed anything up with you in the last couple weeks or days that might be strange
KA= I haven't noticed anything
KB= yeah I haven't either
AO= what about you Adam
AR= um maybe I did
HV= okay what is it Adam
AR= thanking about it now it does seem weird

AR= all right so the other day right before we cut this case I went into work earlier

AR= So I wanted to break when she left some coffee and noticed that she was asleep on the couch and he looked like he was having a bad nightmares I want to go wake him up and when I did he woke up in a panic in almost punched me
HV= wait what
AR= oh yeah and when he woke up he didn't realize it was seven in the morning he thought it was night time so he just slept on the couch from when everyone left the day before to that morning
KB= well he must've been tired
AO= that's not it
HV= there's something else going on
AO= I think I know what's going on
HV= all right you three stay here and wait on an update about Haley
KA= you got it boss ( they leave )
HV= so what are you thinking is wrong with Jay
AO= I think he's having some bad PTSD right now
HV= oh really
AO= Yeah I'm going to Costco and personally think I right

AO= hey will so has a test results came back yet

WH= So all the test within on him or clear so he doesn't have anything in his system

AO= i'm thinking maybe he's having some PTSD issues again specially since the case we were working on he had to hang out with someone that was an ex ranger

AO= do you remember what had helped him last time when he went through this
WH= well the last two times that it happened he was with Erin and the time before that I was doing workover season mouse was the one that helped him get back to his his normal self
